We should get our own to coach us. Nothing special abt the coach. Na Austin Equ formula he is using. Wing play and crosses.
Everythig special man, you have to look at what he has done with what he has. On paper, he should never have beaten Germany and Spain based on the players they possess.

A number of them do speak English though cos of their close business relationship with the US. Or maybe an Eastern European, from Croatia or Serbia, an Italian omo-ita too wouldn't be bad.
Ok..There is this culture with NFF stuffs too. Well...

Another wahala honestly. the NFF is just a reflection of the general culture (unending talk for another day). A lot of folks are just looking for opportunities to lace their pockets. That's why some officials will be getting cuts from a coach's salary. Ordinary to get federal govt job, heard people have to pay to get employed. D tin off me, make I no lie.

Spain didn't know they didn't need the game. At the point that Costa Rica were 2-1 up, Spain were on their way out. My brother, Osondi Owendi, so I agree with you.

Japan vs Croatia.

1-1 draw. Penalty will decide the winner.

Brazil vs Korea

The Brazilian team will scrap through against Korea (3-1).

So who will win between Croatia vs Japan?

Croatia will beat Japan though and it won’t be by penalty

Imagine sharing salary with your national team coach.

Ordinarily I will agree with you but the kind of VAR penalty decisions I've seen has me doubting.

Look at France vs Poland for instance the ball hit the French defender's arm but was still called as a pen even though his arm was close to his body and his back turned. Using that criteria I could also argue that Stone's arm was a little bit extended plus he was beside the Senegalese forward.

Mujtahida:

That ball was not a handball na. It's not everytime the ball touches a players hands that it amounts to an handball. It is even debatable if that ball touched Stone's hand.

When somebody is hyped, it doesn't mean he is not good. He is just getting a lot of praises more than he deserved. That's it.
The point of disagreement is that you say he's hyped but I say he's not hyped because he more than merits the praise. He's 19. He has earned his plaudits.

They had the tactics and were having the upper hand before England broke their press and scored. I have said it numerous times that the Senegalese did not meet any quality team at AFCON. The only top African team they met was Egypt and didn't score from open play.

Lol

You dey dissappoint, aje! You no see that the ball hit his knew first.
The same rule was applied 2018, when we played Argentina. Dat ManU guy headed the ball into his own arm and the referee did not give a penalty.

I am not surprised with Japan and South Korea's recent improvements in football. Both countries have highly advanced economies and stability that is on par with Western European nations. It was only a matter of time that this was going to translate into sporting success.
Though this is very important, the most important thing is actually the football culture. There are many other advanced countries such as China, Canada, etc., that have the benefits of a working system for a long while and still aren't very successful at soccer.
Nigeria's issue isn't the even football culture. Back to your point, Nigeria needs to work as a system, to an extent, before our football grows. But we don't even need to get on par with the West before seeing much improvement in our football. Brazil is still not on par with the West but their strong football culture alongside a significant level of development as a country, is responsible for their dominance.

I didn't see that part unless I rewatch it again but even at that the French guy's own too the ball seemed to hit side before touching his arm.

Croatia don come again. Using penalties to advance from early on in the world cup. Japan really played very poor penalties.
