I find this while aesthetically pleasing are not so functional cos the force of the water is too much and they collapse very quickly under pressure.

In the UK they use 4" pipes and in 9ja with our open heavens rain a lot of roof gutter are either 1" or 2"

The carpenter went ahead to make it higher after we already concluded for a shorter height.

The reason he gives is due to rain downpour.

I am about telling him to reduce it because the number and budget of stoan coated roofing tiles have increased.

You need to consider how that thing looks after a few years and its effect on the wall, especially the poorly installed ones.

Is the bungalow fully detached from the duplex or semi-detach. If the bungalow is fully detached from the duplex he can reduce the height BUT you might have some wastage on the wood. Do your calculation before you proceed with adjustment

You can take it to a steel testing lab to determine it's strength, also collect a copy of it's properties from the buyer.

So i noticed my screeder first of all used black Cement to do a first layer of screeding, then did a second layer with the white one. I'm only familiar with that white one, is this a new method these days? Or is it because of dampness to make it more durable?
