Not fewer than two people have been killed by unknown gunmen in Enugu state today, December 10.

It was gathered from eyewitnesses that the gunmen also set a Hilux van ablaze after fatally shooting the two victims.

The eyewitness said the operation was carried out by gunmen enforcing the five-day sit-at-home declared by separatists in the south-eastern states.

In a video sighted by Salemgists, an eyewitness said the Hilux van was set ablaze opposite Colliery Hospital, New Market Road.

The eyewitness said the gunmen, who were numbering about ten, stormed the area and shot sporadically.

The eyewitness said the gunmen attacked the police patrol van in the early hours of today and killed the two victims before setting it ablaze.
