Intense Jubilation as residents of Mushin capture two gutter Poopers.

Two men identified as Waris Onabanjo and Musiliu Abas have been dragged to the police station following their capturing by residents in Mushin area of Lagos state.

In the evening of Friday December 9, 2022, residents who have always bewailed the loathsome stench proceeding from water paths due to the constant deposits of faeces by unknown persons, finally triumphed over the menace by laying hold on the two men.

Speaking to a correspondent, a resident who sought anonymity said that they were happy that part of the entities causing the menace have become scapegoats.

“We have always wondered why people would turn the gutters into a toilet. We even printed bills that warned against such, yet it didn't stop. We're happy we have scapegoats now.”

Incidents like this however, would make one question how Lagos is considered a mega city, given that slummy lifestyle abounds in the state.
