Morroco is winning this. Portugal has one of the worst goal keeper in the tournament. You benched Rui for this goalkeeper. Are you kidding?
Marjoribanks:
I just do not see where Portugal goals will come from!

Are we about to witness Morocco as the 1st African team to get to the SF?

To the 'anti-tiki-taka' crew, please what happened to Portugal's ultra attacking style of play? cheesy cheesy

They've played so many aimless long balls into Morocco's half, that they're now looking so clueless.

Now they're going to suffer exactly what Spain suffered, perhaps even worse.

Portugal are loosing their heads thru have lost composure and looking very desperate.

I never knew I would see am African team thatote technically astute, disciplined, structured and skillfully better than a European Portugal.

Absolutely Amazing.

Morocco have had fat more scoring chances than Portugal.

If you are Southgate will you forget Griezmann?
Well, I'm not Southgate and that's exactly why I didn't forget him.

All over the news, the question being asked is 'who's going to stop Mbappe? Can Kyle Walker do it?' That's what people are talking about and I think it's going to turn around and bite them in the ass.

How can you fail to test the keeper on a 3 to 2 counter attack? This second half will be tough. The Portuguese will come out smoking while the Morc boys will have a lot of room hitting them on counters.
Anybody's game!

Walker got rinsed and out paced by Ismaila Sarr.

What do you think a much better Mbappe will do to him or even Dembele.

typicalgamer:
This is the biggest turn around ever

Like back in the day i really despised griezman because i feel he’s not really good at anything and rode on teams success.

But until 2 years ago when he started to drop deep to the midfield and control Omo

I ate those word
As a Barca fan, I really hated the fact that the coaches just didn't know how to use Griezmann. Koeman even played him as a winger on many occasions. Griezmann isn't a winger. His best positions are SS, AM and the false nine role.

You see him and Pogba, they could play terribly for their club sides but when they play for France, they turn into beasts.

Respect Oracle
Marjoribanks:
Switzerland opened up cos they thought they could go head to head with Portugal.
Morroco will not give them that space. Spain had a better midfield yet could not break Morroco.
Portugal's midfield and attack are not exceptional. Relying on a 21-year-old striker against Morroco will be a daunting task.
Portugal even struggled against Ghana's midfield; not until Kudus and Dede were removed that they were able to counter.

Lmao. Morocco's kind of set-up is just so hard to break down. That's why I didn't blame Spain for being so possessive of the ball. Spain had over 20 shots in that game but most were either blocked or off target.

Yeah, I noticed that too. Kyle doesn't seem to be as pacy as he used to be. Age is taking over.

They might as well bring Ronaldo in cause this might just be his last 45mins of a FIFA world cup.

Portugal is obviously short on ideas. The diagonal long balls isn't working. They are also finding it extremely difficult to penetrate the Moroccan defence.

To think changes in the team didn't affect the compactness and the discipline of this Moroccan squad. What a joy to watch

Yup. Even Messi was complaining about the Netherlands playing high balls yesterday. That almost made me laugh. Hopefully, they can figure it out before Tuesday.

O pari

Marjoribanks:
Quite disturbing! I feel height is an issue in their defense. The Croat strikers are damn tall.

Azzedine Ounahi, Sofyan Amrabat and Selim Amallah are comfortably the best midfield Trio on the African continent.

And one of them plays in Belgium ooo. The other is for a club bottom in Ligue 1. Chaaaiiii... Football is beautiful. It will humble you.
