I remember it was my IT 2005, I was paid 3k(naira). In out tradition,your parents should be the first you give. I bought a bottle of gin and kola and presented it to my dad.

He asked me to kneel down and prayed for me with the gin and kola nut, he proceeded to take just #200 from the total sum and gave me the rest. It was very fulfilling back then. So folks lets share ow we spent the first money you made.

I saved 90% of it.

I worked three months without salary so accumulated small debt. When the salary was paid, I paid the debt,,then bought things and went for Thanksgiving in my church

I bought bread for my mom and step mom 500naira each
And also bought a 1k half shoe for my self
That was 2014!

Probably I bought books with it. And phone. Then it was Nokia symbian models that was reigning. I love gadgets so much then, that I upgrade every new version.

I love to read on opera mini browser then, until that phase passed. Now I no send phone again, but to simplify my life. Now I use a techno phone. If it lost, no heart attack at all. So yeah, my first income (not salary since I've always worked for myself) was spent on phone and books.

Can't even remember how I spent it but I remembered taking it all to my parent for prayers sha

I bought 3k suya, bought milk also and i drank a bowl of garri that evening..... I can never forget.
Then the remaining money, i added some money and got a Phone

I collected my first salary the same month I got admission....so I used the salary for transport fare to school

It's wasn't paid completely cos I resumed work on the 10th.
It was during Salah of that year and things where costly.
In fact, I bought some cloths, groceries, gave some to close family members, tithe and was left with little for tfare for the next month.
