It’s not uncommon to see comments like “you are supporting Obi because he is Igbo” online from people who are also supporting their tribesman in this election I had discussion with a Yoruba man who happens to be Muslim and he was telling me how I shouldn’t support obi because I am Igbo while he was a Yoruba too and supporting tinubu,I told him if I wanted to play tribal I would support okowa because he is closer to me as a deltan Igbo than Peter obi from Anambra And Obi isn’t the first Igbo man to contest So I compiled the list of all Igbo candidates that contested in 2019 1)Samuel Eke-Green Party of Nigeria (GPN) 2)Nwokeafor Ikechukwu-Advanced Congress of Nigeria (ACD) 3) Kingsley Moghalu-Young Progressives Party (YPP) 4) Obiageli Ezekwesili Allied Congress Party of Nigeria (ACPN) 5) Ike keke-New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) 6) Nnamdi Madu-Independent Democrats (ID) 7) Obinna Ikeagwuonu-African People’s Party (APP)  Umenwa Godwin-All Grand Alliance Party (AGAP)9) Chukwudi Osuala-Rebuild Nigeria Party (RNP) 10) Isaac Ositelu-Accord Party If after all these Igbo contested and Atiku( who is not Igbo by the way) got the lion share votes in the south east,isn’t it wise to support the Igbo people back All the zones in Nigeria have all gotten their fair share of Presidency except the south east,For the sake of equality,Obi lokan South east lo kan 28 Likes 4 Shares |
