I am drawn to your post because of how highly you portray your wife.
The express entry process is really quite compétitive now with CRS scores hitting the roof in latest draws.
Like others have commented, B.sc alone won't do the trick. You will need a masters, very good ielts scores and french. That's the réality due to your age.

Thanks for the reality check. May Jehovah help us all.

Prettiepearlz:

If your wife has no qualifications at all. You are the better candidate, however the BSc may not give you enough point, consider taking a short course like Acca, CIMA, BCS etc to claim two or more certificates so as to boost your score, evaluate both credentials, Write IELTS and aim for scores LRSW- 8.5,8.0,7.5,7.5 and if possible, let your wife write IELTS too. Find your NOC, ensure it’s under Teer 0,1,2 & 3, get into the express entry pool, while waiting try other means to boost your CRS score eg French, Job offer (can be an Herculean task but not impossible with determination). As someone rightly pointed out, if your occupation happens to be in demand in a province and you have the minimum CRS score they are selecting for the rounds of draw, you may receive NOI (notification of interest. All the best and your wife is lucky to have a very thoughtful and loving husband like you.

Hey,
sorry just seeing this.
I got a provincial nomination from Alberta towards the end of last year, been in the pool for quite a while with 425points.
So yeah, I'm one of the positive ones.
Do your research and get in the pool. Even with less than 400 points, you can get an ITA
All the best!
OKAY, THANK YOU

Good day house
Please I need your guidance as regards my EE profile work experience
I am a practising lawyer
But also have a side hustle of buying and selling of wares.(clothes)
The business is not registered because it is a small business and I dont remit tax for now
Must I include these details in my profile? Since I have monies coming in from customers into my personal account?
How do I prove the existence of the business when its time to submit all required documents. I have a social media handle for it though.
I really need tour advise if to omit it or include it.
Thank you

Wow! Quite low! But u can do better with lots of practice and determination!
Here are some tips:
Listening: requires rapt attention, however ya problems dont even blink on em for a second if not, u miss it entirely! So practice practice practice when u see u are getting 8/8.5 steadily then u re good to go. I used cambridge for this.
Speaking - be audible and bold. Speak fluently and in good English. I used liz for this on youtube.
Reading - to ace this, use E2 language learn all types T/F/NG and the rest.
Writing - to ace this use E2 languages well. They re really good here.
Above all practice and ask God for grace! Cos some interviewers in the speaking can be AWFUL! They may have a bad day and pour it on u. Gotta pray against such people!
God help u.
We await ya new result!!
Can u pls share the link for the Cambridge materials?

no need to state the unregistered business. Why haven’t you registered though? Under the finance Act as amended, your business name won’t be liable to pay certain taxes once your turnover is below 25M.

Well it’s a side hustle as you said. No let RPC catch up with you sha. Lol. All the best learned colleague.

you only need to show all that evidence if you are claiming points with it . Since you are likely not, just state it in personal history after ITA, no documentation required

Hi everyone.. I have a question

On my Express Entry application, I listed more work experiences than required I.e. more than the 3 years requirement. Now, I have been issued ITA, and I cannot get references from all work places. Can I proceed with my application like that? Can Offer letters suffice for the places where I cannot get references?

Can anyone with similar experiences advise or share how they resolved this?
This happened to someone I know where her work refused to give reference letter. She submitted employment letter, pay stubs and everything(anything to substantiate your claim) that proves she indeed works there, including a mail trail where the HR refused the letter, luckily for her it was never an issue for ADR and she got her ppr .

Following up on this question, if you have a registered business with CAC and all registration documents and you want to move some of the funds (profit) to your personal account for POF would it present an issue? Would you be asked for tax clearance certificate? Anyone with this experience in particular? Also, what amount qualifies as a bulk/lump sum that you would need to explain its origin for POF?

what concerns tax clearance with pof tho . You can only move money legally from a company to you private account by way of profit, salary , drawings or loan from the business because it is a Separate entity from you. Loans and drawings are not accepted for pof . Is your accounting profit for the year up to the pof . Just go and do gift deed to avoid stories that touch. Lump sum is subjective and different visa officers will interpret it differently. To me it is unusual amount entering your account within the 6 month’s period. For example 100k enters into yours account monthly then in one month 600k or 1m enters. Thats not normal. Read page1 and ircc pof section

The question is - If a lump sum is deposited into your personal account from your business account, would there be any reason for the VO to request for proof that you actually own the business?. If this is requested, would tx clearance be one of the proofs requested for? - Some people would have to pay close to 2M in tx for this.

To your question, yes my proft is more than the POF i'll require but over 80% of this would come from my personal savings. On inflow, it is my personal business and i havent paid my self a salary since inception. I inject into the business instead. So a lump sum movement would seem out of the ordinary and i figure would raise a lot of questions. Just pre-empting really..

Good evening everyone. I have less than two weeks to submit my application. Can I use Fixed deposit as my POF? Will it be a problem if the FD certificate reads that it’s a recent fixed deposit rather than 6months?
I’d appreciate a response, thank you.

What you need after your masters is PhD, BCS won't add to your points.

SuppoOmoo:
Hello Sir and Ma...

Pls, I want to seek sabi peoples advice, especially people who have already relocated via Express Entry/PNP

Yes, I have read a number of pages here and have gained a lot.

My uncle (a civil engineer) and his wife (a senior nurse at UCH then) with their two kids relocated to Canada more than a decade now. I didn't actually know the route they took, I had just finished my SSCE at the time and wasn't exposed to relocation stuff.

Yeah, to God be the glory, they are doing fine (they've got a number of investments in Naija).

A couple of weeks ago, he, my uncle called my mum (his younger sister) and during the conversation, he tried to get my mum talk to me if I would be willing to relocate or I am already satisfied with the job I am doing in Naija.

Since he relocated, we had only spoken three times, and those moments were during festivities when he would speak to everyone present at family house. I never for once called to request a penny from him. Other family members do. I am kind of independent personality. It is my present job that is making me change that mentality as it requires team work.

I hold a BSc and a Master's degree and working with FG (Paramilitary Job). I joined in 2019, that's 3+ years now on the job. Yeah, I had tried the US via schooling for Masters but no success. Since then, I locked up.

Now, due to my mum's insistence, I called the said uncle and after a few bashing from him that I'd not be calling him, that maybe I am okay with Naija job, I want to become the N0 1 in my job bla bla bla. I sha apologise and he put it to me straight that I am marketable based on my education level, age and job experience and would want to facilitate my relocation via PNP. He is in Manitoba. He added that he had assisted few people from his wife's side.

Now, having read the long process involved on the thread with what he also chipped in to prepare.

ECA via WES for my Masters Degree.
Writing Ielts general
Passport
PCC
Medicals
RL from my employer
Payslips etc
All these for me and my wife.
All these will take significant part of my savings. In fact, I have started spending.

I just created an account and paid WES fees ($250) yesterday. I've also contacted my school for transcript. This alone has taken roughly 200k from me. That of my wife will likely take more that 200k cos she holds (ND, HND from different polytechnic)

Shey Someone who is willing to facilitate relocation will not support in the pre-ITA process? And i don't wanna ask. It appears he is only providing POF.

For me, I am kind of scared considering spending all my savings on this route. My other challenge is that immediately I clocked two years in my present job in 2021, i got a house on a mortgage of 20year repayment plan via Federal Mortgage Bank.

Also, I checked my skill level on NOC, I am rated on band C (High School graduates). People have narrated how people struggle to get accommodations and other needs. Yeah, I am not so comfortable here but, but, but,...

My head is full of these thoughts after paying WES fees yesterday.

Pls I want sincere inputs, especially from people in Manitoba to guide my decision either to continue the process or not
Thanks for coming out to air your concerns and I will be frank with you. Your concerns are very valid. You need to ask yourself if it is something you want to do or you are being pressured to do it. There are many reasons why people relocate and these reasons vary from person to person. Relocation out of Nigeria has put smiles on the faces of many families and also brought sorrows to many families. Since I completed university I have moved three times. From UK to nigeria (at age 24), Nigeria to South Africa (at age 27) and South africa to Canada (at age 30). In all cases I was single and the reason I made my most recent move was to take advantage of the tech boom in Canada, land a software engineering job and live in a country where I wouldn't have to worry about work permits and overall earn a decent income.
On your part you have a secured FG job, some level of comfort/job satisfaction and some level of stability. Will you be better off moving to Canada ? If the answer is YES kindly consider going for it. Will you be able to get the kind of job you want in Canada ? If the answer is YES kindly consider going for it.

In addition, Canada is a very big country with 10 provinces. The province of Ontario is bigger than Nigeria in Land mass. Since I landed in Canada I have not travelled to the other Provinces. Even within the Province I reside I have not gone outside the Greater Toronto Area (except the few times I went to USA). Thus I cannot say I know Canada well. But I hear that Manitoba doesn't have an economy as advanced as you'll find in Ontario. Thus kindly research about the opportunities in the Province you'll be going to since the offer you have is under the Manitoba PNP program. Hopefully you'll make the right decision.

...For your mortgage, you can keep paying it while there.

✓Better seize this opportunity and make something useful with your life..A lot of persons are looking for relatives in Saskatchewan/Manitoba to support their migration dreams ,and here you are.... Wasting time! Do it for your future generations! Take that move.

✓Expecting someone who is providing relative support and probably Pof to still support you with funds shows that you are immature and feeling unnecessarily entitled to what is not yours! ...You need to change that mentality! A man shouldn't depend on others for everything! Person give you wife...you dey ask for bed to fulfill your conjugal duties...That is height of irresponsibility!

✓Start the process fast
I think you are unnecessarily harsh on him. Life does not begin and end with moving to Canada. He is a bit hesitant. I also felt hesitant about moving to Canada in 2018. But in 2020 I began to wish I made the move and it was only then I decided to start preparing from it. He has probably not yet made up his mind
