I don’t think it’s the mud that’s causing it. If you truly change brake pads every 4 months then I believe you have a very serious issue with a component of your brake system or you buy very cheaply made brake pads.

No,I use Castrol oil for my Acura and LR3 but I use Mobil 1 for my Toyota. Congrats on your new whip once again.

One thing you should know is the manufacturer of the Oil is really not of concern as much as the Oil weight. Its the Oil weight you should pay attention to

Mobil is a brand name while 5W20 is oil specification. Check on the container of oil used for servicing your car. You will see the specification written on it. The same is also written on the oil cover of you car engine. If it's 20W50, then it's not the correct oil for your acura.

Thanks for Enlightening that brother, loads of people well car owners in Nigeria are too lazy to take time to know the specification of parts and fluids needed by their cars. Now that cars are no longer cheap, I hope people take more time to delve into what the import into thier car.

When it comes time to replace them, things get really expensive

Mehn I think I will start buying parts myself. This meko say him change the hands as per protocol but I’m hearing strange sound especially while turning. I don’t think this man changed anything. At least it should last at least 4-6 months it’s barely 2 months. Any recommend to get quality parts bosses

more advantage.but xpenssive to replace if fault but I'm sure the MDX has a fixed one not like the Range Rovee

You should service your caliper slide pin with grease and replace the rubber boot if it's torn so your brakes don't bind.
You do not need to change your pad that often regardless of where you stay.

I have always made the mistake of trusting mechanics, this time I wan kala!

U are supposed to look at your engine oil cap or owners manual to know what oil type is required for your car.
Also if u can afford Mobil then fine if u can't, u can as well go for other trusted brands. It's not compulsory it must be Mobil, as a matter of fact u might be using Mobil and it will be a wrong specification for your car.
what matters most is that u are using the oil specified by the manufacturer.
In my opinion I think the Mdx is a better and more solid car than the Lexus although might require "more care"

Go for the Acura MDX bro you won’t regret it but if you’re planning on reselling later in future then go for RX 330. I’ve been using my MDX for 3 years now without any issue.

06…it’s a V6 engine with rear AC you know what that means lol and yes I have the check engine light on my dashboard.

check engine light is normal
