Great everyone is doing here.
A few questions to ask.
I just got two scholarship for my PhD (4 years) but was asked to pay for the oshc which is approximately AUD 21,000 (family options for 57 months), to medibank.

This is a lot of money, what can be adviced?
Is it compulsory to pay it all or 2 years can be paid, if yes will it be acceptable?
and if not what can be done?

I will appreciate your candid response.

Thanks

Congratulations to all who got their visa granted, many more wins.

Wollongong University is great for international students I mean when I used to school there. Loved the environment and the city but in terms of job not so great but I think also it depends on the kinda of job you after as well. The common job there is the health job which are easy to come by but any aside that might be a struggle.

Not too sure about Nigerian group.
Good day, please I heard australia doesn’t give PSW to PGD students which can lead to PR
Please what can you advise me to do.
Thank you.

I think the test is dependent on the visa type; Academics for Study visa and General for others.

Hello guys, is there a way I can get my Australian medical done faster. I called Dr Fatayi Williams over 2 weeks for medical appointment, am yet to get a reply from them. My school resume first week of February. Any faster means to get this medical done, I will really love any advice. Thanks.

I will advise you go there yourself, coz I went their myself to have a chat with them. However, u can keep checking on IOM for a closer date because it is cheaper than Fatayi Williams.

Hi everyone,

2 offers from RMIT and Federation. Which of them would you suggest I go for? Also, how easy is it to switch or change between both schools?

Thanks.

@Davinee
As for me, I wrote to IOM Lagos asking for a closer date. I explained in my email that the next available date on their website was too late for me.
They eventually booked me on a favourable date.

I have done my medicals now.

Fatayi Williams never got back to me by the way.

I'm going for a master's degree in Australia, I already have bachelor and master degrees from Nigeria. My question is do I need IELTS in my student visa application?
It depends on school. Schools like Deakin do waive Test of English for certain courses and you don't have to provide it while applying for visa but the issue is, you will definitely need Test of English while going forward.

Good day everyone, please i would like to have an advice from anyone that studied MSC electrical electronics Engineering from Flinders university in Adelaide, i would love to know how the person maintained studying with work balance provided the huge bills and tuition that needs to be cleared, any advice or opinion will be greatly appreciated . thanks.
This boils down to individual, it is very achievable but doesn't come easy.

Walk in early in the morning and talk to the Nurses like a typical Nigerian, they will reason your matter.
