Three Nigerian nationals were arrested in Thane, Maharashtra, for alleged unlawful possession of narcotics.

The three accused were arrested from the Wagle Estate area opposite a popular shopping mall by officers of the Thane Crime Branch Unit-5 on Saturday, December 24, 2022.

The police seized 60gm cocaine and 70gm of Mephedrone commonly known as MD collectively worth Rs 27 lakh from the suspects.
Other items like mobiles, passport and visa were recovered from the suspects during the arrest.

The three accused arrested are; Obasi alias Mago Eugene Stanley (45) a resident of Nalasopara in Palghar district, Prosper Okoro Wachukwu (44) a resident of Mira-Road and Sunday Boateng (25) a resident of Malad.

"The three arrested accused planned to sell the narcotics but they were intercepted by the police and were arrested," Vikas Ghodke, senior police inspector, Thane Crime Branch Unit-5 said.

"They have been booked under Sections 8 (C), 21 (B) and 29 of the NDPS Act. As during the Christmas and New Year the demands for the drugs rise and the reason the Nigerians sell those drugs for the parties. We are investigating whether the three Nigerians had brought the drugs for sale for the New Year.

"We have also appealed to the concerned citizens to report about the sale of drugs in any parts of the Thane city to us on a priority basis."

Always in the news for the wrong reason.... the problem we have, is that some of the Nigerian youths are lazy all they want is easy access to millions which makes them to turn to crime. No wonder the outer world only see us as criminals and drug peddlers. But see as dem cover their head like person wey kidnappers just catch.

I see India banning Nigeria soonembarassed

No they won't ban them. They are providing a NEEDED service and some Indian high police officers even chop from them. They know who they are and where to pick them up when it starts getting out of hand or to calm the public that they are doing something. Nobody is fooling anybody

Oh No, Not again! sad sad sad
Always in the news for the very wrong reasons.
May God save Nigerians from these idiots that keep bringing the country to to disrepute.
They have all the opportunities to work legitimately, but fraud and crime is engraved on their forehead.....almost naturally!
They make foreigners look at anyone from Nigeria as fraudsters, scam artists and criminals.

Same kind of people we read, that produce fake teething powder for new born babies under 6 months old, sending many innocent newborns to their untimely death!

They turn worn out and old tires to brand new ones in their shops under 3 hours and sell it back to unsuspecting public as tokunbo tires!!! shocked
Causing many deaths on our roads by so doing!!

Same people that were rejoicing on the death of one of the greatest women to ever come out of Nigeria (Mrs Dora Akunyili!) cos she was a pain in their dirty as$!!

Anything and everything is money to them, even when innocent lives are in danger.
Bastards.

So Mba,
We have drug dealers and fraudsters in every tribe and regions in Nigeria please.
It is a personal thingy by criminals and fools, not by tribe.
