Bro, you're the enigma in this group.

Out of curiousity bro, what kind of car do you use and how often do you service it?

I drive the same car other people drive and I service as often as others service.

Advision:
I came across your account over a year ago (and you had been grossing over N1M a month probably even before then.....with N1M a month over several years, most drivers would have exited the business...what keeps you doing this?
Same thing that keeps you in your current Job/business even though you make same amount monthly, and most of people in your job or line of business have either resigned, exited the business, or left the country. So what keeps you doing it?

Advision:

No offence...just curious to understand your flow

Mejai or yeyegbami shey u dey see wetin I dey see?

Nope bro...I'm been an admirer of the guy's work level.

In the past, a lot drivers were antagonistic to the guy. Good to see that has changed grin.

If I were a driver, I would not mind evening paying him to know he grosses these amounts every month.....

Still cant wrap my head around how makes so much every month and keeps a level head doing the job. The average person will probably develop a big ego and leave to other job....really admire his work ethic.

@CheerfulGiverr if you can consistently make such amounts in Nigeria in spite of the difficult operating environment, I can only imagine how much you will make in a more structure environment doing same job

Terrible finishing for me, but in all I give thanks. Was thinking I'll hit at least 800/900k. Very good chart that I have already seen the end to the point as the major task has been taken care off. My problem start on 25th, got to filling station, queue for like 30 mins. After getting gas, car refused to start. Gosh! Battery problem. If you never had one, you won't understand, begged and begged, but feels like all face is fixed on getting fuel. Called family members to see if I can rush home to pick beatery from other car, my people always off phone in church. Rush to go find jump start and finally get to start the car. After first short trip, position to get second trip, car won't start. Just told myself the truth... don't let this battery drag you to a point you will pay double. All effort to get battery and talk to available battery charger to even loan their battery for the day fell on deaf ear. Took me 4pm before I could get a battery. I know 4pm is still game, but for a day I have so prepared for. I gently admit my fate and call it a day. I try to work on the 26th and from 27th I've been down with sickness, just coming out to chill since then for the first time. We moove next year. Happy new my people.
Battery wahala, a very unpleasant experience when it arises.

On 30th I was at Jakunde, lekki to buy a car for a client and the business didn't sail through due to invalid custom duties

I was disappointed how I'd list a 1.5m naira deal, it was painful but we move better days ahead.

I powered up my indriver to get a trip home, did a 1.5k from elegushi palace Rd to brown stone estate and the lady gifted me 2k. I was happy and grateful.

Waited like an extra 30-45min for another trip and finally got one to VI, beside cubana. Last Friday seems to be a slow day.

Immidately she dropped an in-app message, "no calls only chat". I didn't bother replying.

"Where are you? Put on your hazard light".

She opened the back door, throw her little bag behind the back seat and hoop into the front seat.

Off we went.

It was already dark and the weather was cold, due to low fuel I didn't intend using the AC but she started requesting for it, without much confrontation I'd to.

Immidately after the lekki toll gate I asked her, are you doing tf or cash she replied "tf" okay you can start doing it now so he would have reflected b4 drop off. She asked what bank I use, *Kuda"
She started with her stories how she can only do to only commercial banks since she's using ussd. Okay aunty do to Zenith.

This lady started trying from after Oriental hotel till we got to her destination, I can't count the numbers of times Id to call out my account number to an extent she already know it offhands

"My network, my bank my phone, my everything is not working".
"Maybe you should go I'll send your money when my app works fine".

Aunty it's 2 already all along you banking app is still not working abi?? Okay let's go to the nearest GTB while you do a cash withdrawal, because I'm not leaving without my money.

To be honest I'd waited for good 2hrs for this olosho girl... We drove to the nearest GTB in VI she went to the atm and came back after about 30min with the same story.

Madam at this point you'll have to drop your bag to get it when you send my money.
From the very first minute I suggested to this olosho girl to call her friends and relatives to assist her she bluntly refused saying she has no one in life to call.

She held on to her bag, saying she can't drop it simply because of 3.3k. she pulled her arm bids that I should hold I just laughed at her. I started driving down to Amadu Bello Rd, she started shouting where are you taking me to... To my house off course. Since you refused to pay me my money.

She started saying all sort of words, you can't do that this and that.. I didn't even answer her... Okay I'm working on it... She called somebody to help her do TF, asked me to call my account again I did again and again and again!!!

I parked at Bonny camp bus stop, waited for another 20min... She kept chatting people doing VN, I then received 3.5k into my Zenith, I started my car and b4 I move I got another 3k from somebody else. I didn't say a word... That is for my time and stress.

I zoomed off, she said where are you going to he has sent it now, I asked for the alert screen shot and she showed me.

Dropped her off in the hotel she was going to and left.

These ladies are really terrible people
She actually didn't have any money to pay for that ride just wanted to do her last scam for the year but she meet an old cargo who knows more than her.

Las Las I got paid for my time wasted.

I only have one prayer this 2023.... That foolish people who believe they are big boys, bigger than drivers, who say they make more money than drivers, can just leave this thread for drivers alone.

Nobody is dragging wealth with you. I don't understand how they have so much money and at the same time so jobless to have time to troll on a thread for uber drivers, mocking them.

That stupidity should have ended yesterday.

For new drivers and people resigning their stupid 200k naira a month jobs, to come join real hustling, I say welcome to the club. Many goats will discourage you, mock you, laugh at you on this thread. Don't lose your focus. For a fact, none of those goats can 1. Find you a better job, 2. Dash you ordinary 5k.

Therefore, in 2023, whenever such idiots appear to bring you down, use your God given middle finger, and tell them to fuck_off. They tried it with me, and it didn't work. If it didn't work on me, it won't work on you... Say amen.

Now, go back to your drawing board, and plan your 2023. Your life is in your hands.
