There is nothing more distrustful than a public figure who comes out to take a stand and then goes back on his word. The shameless about-face where someone comes out to insist on subsidy to stay in Jonathan era and the same person is now saying subsidy must go is shocking to see.

Making promises and not keeping them is not anything new to APC. They lack credibility and integrity. Look at the current fuel crisis we are facing. Officially subsidy is still in place but depot owners are selling at higher prices because they say that is how they bought it. Yeye dey smell. How can we have prolonged fuel crises nationwide since November in some states and till no solution is in sight? Few weeks back DSS came forward to issue ultimatum to independent marketers but we are still yet to see any positive change. Instead things are getting worse! What is the NNPC and the petroleum ministry doing to resolve the current nationwide fuel crisis?

That is why Nigerians are united in voting for LP.

He's actually the chief instigator that brought in this failed government bedeviling the nation....
Until he comes out to condemn it into to and agreed that it has actually failed in every aspect then we could consider hearing him..

But for now, BAT is not an option at all..

Remove subsidy and collapse the Country, all the promises after subsidy will not be kept, how many Nigerians will comfortably buy petrol at 600 per litre where is the purchasing power, i guarantee you that a bag of rice would go as high as 80-100k and how much is minimum wage, how many jobs pay over 100k today. Remove subsidy and face what Ethiopia faced in the 80s and early 90s.

How do nigerians need Tinubu more?

How will he "bring prosperity to Nigerians at large in all areas"?

How is Tinubu intelligent? Isn't it the same Tinubu that opposed fuel subsidy removal under Jonathan that is saying he will remove subsidy?

Re: Why Fuel Subsidy Should Go – Tinubu by SolarEngr(m): 10:54am On Jan 03, 2023
If fuel subsidy is removed (fuel will cost probably #1K/litre, meanwhile electricity is still very much unstable, I wonder how Bussiness and Homes running on generator will manage. Noteworthy is the fact that as soon as fuel subsidy is removed, there will be a higher demand for Solar products an alternative and future source of energy, leading to increasing in prices of solar materials, therefore GO SOLAR TODAY!

AchichaMmuo:
Would the FG be subsidising petroleum products if our refineries were working optimally. The Business men and the Cabals, have consistently made sure that our local refineries are either not working, or underperforming, and have refused to build more refineries. Out of the 13 Opec members, Nigeria is the ONLY OPEC member country that imports more than 90 to 95% of refined petroleum products to meet our domestic consumption. Why will I buy a litre of fuel 450-500 because the FG/Cabals have failed overtime to do the right thing. Make them leave that subsidy alone.
Subsidy is determined mainly by the current price of crude oil and the pump price of refined products.Local refining will reduce market of refined products by not more than 15 %, mainly by the elimination of shipping and allied charges
