Please guys I need urgent and mature response to this issue.

I am a graduate and currently working as a real estate broker in Abuja.

Recently a friend of mine who happened to be my brother in-law told me of a job offer in portharcourt at a company( an international company persay) who were ready to pay him in dollars every week.

The problem was that he has to pay N650k for international working documents, dollar account and other stuffs to commence training.

I don't know what happened next, I later heard he's there already and he wants to create opportunity for me too.

So he requested for my details which I sent to him. Lately yesterday he called telling me I was confirmed for the job replacement and I also have to pay N650k to get the job.

I didn't say anything to him yet aside telling him I'll get back to him.

I'm having a double feeling about this seeing the fact that this is someone I know in person, that's why I brought it here.

Thank you guys!
They have scammed you. Next step is collection of the N.065m. Let your bro pay for you and you will pay him back with interest from salaries paid by the job

Re: Could This Job Offer Be Scam!!! by IgOga(m): 10:18am On Jan 05, 2023
Any employer that is not ready to process your documents under company expense is not ready for you. For tax purposes the employer will claim your onboarding cost as company expense or operational cost.

This idea of paying N650K is fraud. Use that money to better your life.

Re: Could This Job Offer Be Scam!!! by Ybholy(m): 10:36am On Jan 05, 2023
They used this nonsense scam my guy’s brother some months ago. After he present the stuff to me, I made research here on NAIRALAND and told him it’s a scam. He said he knows the guy too well inside market. He said the guy can’t pull such funny stunt on him. I told him it’s pure scam and best done by people you trusted or family friends. He said I’m being pessimistic. I tried again to explain him. He start keeping distance. I left him.

The stubborn guy still sent his bro to the location (PortHarcourt). When he reach, he met 8 guys in a room grin (these are guys that claimed they get paid $250 weekly and live large).

They asked the guy to bring the money, his own was 450k and 20k registration fee. He gave them 20k and hoping maybe tomorrow, when they reach the company, he will pay the other fees (same nonsense international working permit, international passport and dollar account etc format).

Tomorrow, they couldn’t take him to the place while asking him to bring the money so that they can secure a position for him. He said no. They lock him up and went out.

The guy broke out from window and escaped.

When he returned, I know what must have happen there in portharcourt. I didn’t bother to ask him or his bro. After a week or so, the brother came my house and explain to him.

I couldn’t help than to laugh coz I warned him.

The mumu nearly fall for another one last month or so. Well, many dumb people full Nigeria shaa

Go there and pay. Then you can understand it from first hand experience after trying to lure all your friends into it and losing all when they discover what you planned to do them.

You must have enriched the old folks in the game by then.

It’s MLM (multi level marketing)
You need to bring people to see your profit - enough people.

The question is, can you bring up to 10 people that will trust you with their 500k huh

I doubt so. Cox if you can, you would’ve come together with them to start a business. Peace

Please don't go it's a scam. My in-laws brother was a victim. He sold all he had and left only for him to be held hostage by this so called employers in Lagos. They keep you hostage and threaten you to corporate with them or loose your life, you will be forced to make a call to friends or families about this work in order to convince people to come with more money.
In his own case he gave them 600k, in Lagos. He only escaped by miracle and he is back to square zero.
