State can't generate power on their own or what are you saying?

Haven't you affirmed he did but reverse is the case now when you're asked for evidence.

Jokes on you

Another DUMB Tinubu supporter. Why is it that 99% of Tinubu supporters are all senseless?!

Peter Obi stated he will ensure that nothing less than 20,000 megawatts of electricity are distributed within his first four years!

Mr. Olodo, is Nigeria distributing up to 6000 megawatts currently? Or you don't even know the difference between capacity, generation and distribution?

No wonder people like you are supporting a sick, old and corrupt Tinubu to rule Nigeria.

Shame on you!!!

I think Power has increased significantly. Even my Village wey no dey get light for 2-3 weeks straight now has 16-20 hrs power daily when I visited last Month. When I asked people for how long? They said it's been 2-3months constant light. There are many places in Nigeria now that enjoy 24/7 uninterrupted power Supply except there's a technical glitch.

Remember, when we started seeing improvement, we thought it was cuz of raining season but the Power situation is getting better daily.
Buhari don try for Infrastructure but he is slow in Security and Dumb in Economy.

Where be your village nah village people need light to plant cassava or to clear busy I don’t know why you people will see the right thing and saying nonsense. I stay in Benin close to Oba place we do not even have 16- 20 hrs light despite that this is the best light in the whole Edo state. Stop saying trash Electricity in Nigeria is defined as FAILURE..... To set the record straight the first 6month of President Buhari Electricity change in Nigeria during the first 6month of the first term every sector in Nigeria improved because they think It will be same Buhari of 1983 after that 6month Baba don die and den don replace am with coy so they are making him dance to Cabal tune .... The only solution to Nigeria problem is OBIDATT I repeat if people really know what is going on in this country everyone will come out with their PVC and vote for Obi.....I have many people in London who work with Uk government they keep telling me if Nigeria do not vote for OBI there will be a big problem.... People who are educated knows this people who are sensible know this It only people who eat from the fail government will be shouting APC and PDP up and down and once those people take the power then go ignore them they will come here again and be shouting see tinubu nag God go punish am see Atiku nah God go punish am

You are not up to date. Everybody can now generate power. But that change happened in 2022 though. So nobody can hold Obi for not building a generating plant while he was governor. Under the previous rule, if you generate, you must export ALL to the grid save for station local consumption.

Distribute 20,000 out of the 10,000 being generated? Or did he mean to generate additional 10,000 and then distribute 20,000 or he meant distributing the whole 10k in a year?
I know it’s not practical to generate and distribute everything intact even if you have the infrastructure.
Obi should have been more realistic.
And if he had meant to say he would generate and distribute 20k in two years, how soon will the transmission lines be ready? Geo physical survey, drawings, approvals, fund disbursements, importation, clearing at port, land clearing, getting right-of-way etc would take more than two years except he wants to spend double the price of such project.

There is no serious benefit in “privatizing” the transmission system. If by privatizing, you mean selling sections of the transmission system to different owners. The system is small enough to be operated by one entity.
