Why are you always turning everything upside down? The bolded clearly says those currently in Grade 5 were eligible for WAFUB tournament the following month. The Afcon under 17 was originally scheduled for March, which is a few months, away from the test in which case a few months is enough to complete the fusion, not to talk of the World cup in December 2021, which was canceled too. Question 1: If the highest grade was grade IV, why would a grade V be eligible for WAFUB? Question 2: Can you tell us why a CAF medical officer pegs ineligibility at grade VI? Why are you running away from this question? Provide an answer. .TheGoodJoe: |

benji93:Former doctor of the Golden Eaglets, Ayodeji Olarinoye, has maintained that players who posted Grade 5 results in the recent MRI age test ought to be eligible for next month’s U17 AFCON in Benin Republic going by his experience. The answer is clearly in the bolded. They are eligible for the CAF but screened out by NFF. |

benji93: Going by his experience, these U17 screened out that had Grade 5 fusion should have been allowed for the WAFU B tournament. If CAF like, put it at Grade 15, you have heard from an insider that we have been going with Grade 5 players. |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by benji93: 3:07am On Jan 12, 2023 |
What bullshit is this? . If you are screened out you shouldn't be eligible for any under-17 tournament. You keep turning everything upside down. 2. Again, in the other article why would the CAF medic peg ineligibility at VI, not V? The other article actually quoted him generalizing to all under-17 tournaments. Ineligibility applies to all under-17 tournaments including WAFUB under-17. TheGoodJoe: |

benji93: Na wa. The players are screened out and the former doctor kicked against it because those players are supposed to be eligible because of Grade 5 fusion. With Grade 5 fusion they will be eligible for the competition but they are not eligible to join the Golden Eaglets because the Golden Eaglets pegged their at Grade 4. |

It is written clearly in black and white now. The players should have been eligible for the U17 WAFU B but are not because of the NFF grade 4 screening. Finito. |

Why should we believe that's the case and not the news outlet SCORENigeria just making a bogus claim? A different article clearly has a CAF medic saying CAF's guideline is that ineligibility is at grade VI. Now it's that you won't be able to get into the Golden Eaglet but you would be eligible for the competition. Does it even make sense to you? According to @TheGoodJoe, CAF and NFF get different rules for MRI. Shame no even dey catch you to talk this. No evidence from any NFF official to confirm grade IV is the highest grade for eligibility. At least there's one from a CAF medic. TheGoodJoe: |

This statement was by the news outlet. This is a quotation of what the former medic actually said: "Players now on Grade 5 will definitely be eligible for the upcoming WAFUB tournament". Certainty. Who should anyone believe more? An unserious news outlet or a medic? You take the rephrase of the outlet over the actual quotation of the medic. You are a very interesting fellow. ![]() TheGoodJoe: |

benji93:Attacking me will not help you. The article is clear as daylight. Look at this excerpt. Nigeria’s Golden Eaglets preparations for next month’s Under-17 AFCON qualifiers in Benin Republic has run into troubled waters as 40 of the 60 players penciled to prosecute the tournament have failed the mandatory MRI age test barely three weeks to the tournament. This development, THISDAY learnt has thrown the team’s coaching crew led by Fatai Amoo into deep crisis with just three weeks to select a brand new squad to fly the country’s flag at the WAFU B qualifiers scheduled to begin on January 5. Sources at the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) hinted that it was to avoid Nigeria being embarrassed at major tournaments that it pegged Grade 1- 4 as the benchmark for the age test to ensure registered players are not disqualified to lead to the disqualification of the entire team by CAF. https://www.thisdaylive.com/index.php/2020/12/18/mri-disqualifies-40-eaglets-three-weeks-to-u17-afcon-qualifiers/ No need attacking me. Finito. |

benji93: They are eligible for the competition but NFF pegged it at Grade 4, so they will not go with the Golden Eaglets. They are out of the squad. |

benji93:Eligible means they are suitable for it. Not that they are going. They are eligible but did not meet the NFF eligibility. So they are not going and that is why the former team doctor disagrees with it. |

benji93: When you read, understand the context of the article. The context of this former doctor's article is that, the players screened out of the competition should have been allowed to go for the competition. The doctor agreed but they are not going because they are screened out. |

Man, you are a very interesting fellow. . Whose eligibility is the first one? You need to settle down and get everything in order man. They are Eligible, but they are not going. Do you understand what you are saying? ![]() TheGoodJoe: |

This is what the doctor is reacting to. He believes some of them screened out should have been allowed to go for the competition because they are eligible for it. The point is too simple. |

lovewins:This is the more reason we need to advocate for full private control of our football... Remo Stars are owned by a man with previous experience in the sport sector and he understands how profitable the market is .. They will surely go far... Even if the NPFL frustrates them, with their model, they could be making profit from selling players to European teams.. Vandrazzar FC is another club in that stage, though they are in the lower division.. Their Facebook page had almost a million followers until it was hacked recently..Haven't gotten any update from them... A million followers I'd huge! Enyimba, the second most followed team on social media doesn't have up to 100k followers on Facebook |
