Not good enough for the current Fulham that beat Chelsea yesterday, with Willian making it bitter for Chelsea by scoring against them.

So he is on his way to another Championship side several or quite likely Glasgow Rangers. He has fallen down the pecking order at Fulham and under Silva. And at his age shouldn't be content sitting on the bench and getting his £30K+ a week.
Glasgow Rangers will be better place for him to revive his career

If he performs there it will be easier to attract the national team handlers to give him a chance in the super eagles

The Super Eagles need CBs who are comfortable with the ball at their feet and in the buildup phase and Midfielders who can ball-play, dictate and easily recycle possession when needed to give us grounds in the first, second and even third phases of Buildup plays.

This way, our attack can be utilised in ways we haven't even exploited. Ball-comfort traits in our lads from defence to midfield will afford us different angles of attack in the final third.

True. The youngest CF Option we have out there within the Top 5 leagues but again, I buttress, our midfield troubles won't allow us enjoy whatever prospects these CF options hold for us. Our reaping will be cut short and limited if we don't fix our midfield.

On a flip note, It's interesting how I used to rate Folarin a bit higher than Nketiah back then when both were still coming through at the Hale Academy but it seems both are doing just fine. Nketiah has shown tremendous improvements in his physical plays and establishing himself in the new MSN of Football (Martinelli, Saka, Nketiah) and Folarin just keeps getting better in France with his ball striking and finishing.

Finally, on Uduokhai... I don't know. If the ship has sailed, I don't know how far. We still have Jenz at Celtic to look at as well.

Jenz is not a good centre back. He is the German version of Ekong. I would rather Igoh Ogbu or Torunarigha than Jenz

In your first paragraph, Rohr allegedly met him when he was 21 (2016/2017) and arrangements were made whereas he was still an active player for the England U21s and was even promoted at some point by Hodgson to train with the senior team. It is also on record that his father said he will consider Nigeria after he turns 23.

In your second paragraph the Achilles injury he had was in 2020 when he was 25 and not 21 or 23 when he should have filed for a switch as his father had promised.

Lastly the reason for Sheffield Wednesday being in league one is pointless as he could have been signed up by a Championship team or and Epl side or even a Scottish team if he was that special.

He has been a league one player for over 2 seasons now.

Iorfa is in the same category with Agbonlahor that was approached severally by Egauvoen before he even made his England U21 debut (John Fashanu had even informed him that it was a wrong choice) and Onuoha that was approached by Vogts and even Lagerback offered him a place for the 2010 WC which he turned down because he wanted to play for England.

Na lamba upon lamba Komekn don use to defend Iorfa issue..

Lol... His Physicality is what interests me. Not so sure about his ball playing.

Igoh Ogbu holds great promise in the ball playing aspect. Played Libero/Sweeper for Lillestrøm at the heart of a back 3. I have high hopes for him and hopefully he fulfills his potentials.

Torunarigha is off and on. But what choice do we have? I will also give him a look in.

What do you think of Marvin Ekpiteta at Blackpool and Ajibola Alese at Sunderland?

His ability to slot into a back 3 and back 4 comfortably while also being ball-playingly proficient makes him a must-invite in the near future for the Super Eagles.

And like it or not, this ball playing ability is what keeps CBs like Awaziem on the lips and radar of folks like myself even though I never hid my disappointment in his step down move to Croatia.

Awaziem is too shaky to be termed a ball playing centre back

How about Olisa Ndah? What do you think?

I don't understand his point, the boy and his father thought he was good enough for England which is understandable considering the little hype he was getting at Wolves.

He makes the occasional own goal but that doesn't remove from his quality on the ball.

Leon Balogun have also had is shaky moments in the GWG (e.g. vs Madagascar, vs CAR in Lagos) but even you will agree that his ball-playing and ball carrying is not in question. A Fit Balogun was easily our best well rounded CB both in defensive actions and in the ball playing aspects.

I have seen even better press-resistant players have their bad days as well. Doesn't dent their ball playing or press-resistant qualities.

In the Super Eagles today, minus every uncapped option Awaziem has the best passing range and Long sight Vision among SE CBs and his carriage forwards when in possession is one that should not be dismissed.

Watch this clip below from 0.24 and tell me which SE CB today has the same passing range Prowess & Vision as Awaziem. This is routine for this man.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DoibBOMcZyk

Among our current CB options, I have only seen Calvin Bassey attempt and complete a progressive pass this long and this accurate while he was at Rangers.

No, I mean what qualities do you like in the lad that you feel are relevant to what we need at the back.

I have seen you talk up Ndah a little before.

His Sassuolo move? I didn't report it but I guess it's still at the talking stage or maybe has gone cold? Time will tell. It's still a long way to the 31st.

With respect to the bolded, you see, it is easy to just reel out names. But I want people to be able to analyse and break down a little on what actual qualities these "mentioned" players are gonna bring to the SE.

We have invited so much based on the spur of the moment and based on the Popular shallow view of "Leagues" but have we critically assessed what qualities they bring and check if it is protagonistic or antagonistic to the team plays?

Easy to name... But the truth lies in the holistic analytical dissection of each player as an option.

A team isn't built on names. It is built on Chemistry from Tactical and Technical Viewpoints.

I bet you don’t put the oppositions he plays agains in SA league into consideration

If awaziem drops to the SA league he will emerge as the best cb in the league before the end of the season

I saw him at the Afcon in the 14mins+ he played and was actually impressed with his Composure on the ball.
Not bringing out the bells, gungho, for him yet but he does have the potential to become a very reliable ball playing CB. I also believe he can act comfortably as a Sweeper if need be in a 3 man backline.

He has potentials and traits I am impressed with but I am still watching. No full conclusions drawn yet.

Ndah is tough, tidy with tackles, good on 1v1, and quite comfortable on the ball.
