Onomah currently is a league2 level player. He should be playing for teams like Oxford, Crawley, Crewe Alexandra etc
you are right cheesy

TheSuperNerd:
The Super Eagles need CBs who are comfortable with the ball at their feet and in the buildup phase and Midfielders who can ball-play, dictate and easily recycle possession when needed to give us grounds in the first, second and even third phases of Buildup plays.

This way, our attack can be utilised in ways we haven't even exploited. Ball-comfort traits in our lads from defence to midfield will afford us different angles of attack in the final third.

Did you have any midfieders in mind when you wrote this?

He suffered a leg injury as you know. A double fracture in his right leg affecting his Tibia and Fibula bones so his exact return is still in doubt.

But the good news is he is off crutches right now. So the wait on his return continues.

How about Samson tijani. When will he be back from his injury

Ever seen any proactive person complain of a problem without having in mind, some solutions to that problem?

Another young midfielder to keep an eye on is crystal palace 17 year old David Ozoh. Highly rated at palace and tipped to make the leap the first team soon, hv been named in palace bench in few epl games and viera speaks highly of him

Similar to Tim Irogbulam with good physique and build for his age

One for the future

And where is he most comfortable in for you, in a back 3 or a back 4?

Tidy with tackles? Hmmm... Don't forget you are talking about a lad who was also shaky for the U23 Eagles at the Afcon U23 tournament in 2019. He wasn't so tidy and composed when he bagged that red.

If you can call Awaziem shaky because of a few bleeps in the past and ignoring his current status, how about Ndah?

ChrisKels:

Ndah is tough, tidy with tackles, good on 1v1, and quite comfortable on the ball.

He is not similar to Tim. He is more of a destroyer, than an orchestrator or conductor unlike Tim.

Does Awaziem have a current status? U23 football is a youth team soccer and simple mistakes are quite pardonable.

You are deliberately being discourteous.

You make it sound like this is the first time I am talking about our midfield and dropped names of possible solutions.

How many times would I drop names only for you or anyone to come back in months' time asking the same questions? Abeg Chris, Rest.

So you would pardon Ndah's and not Awaziem's? That's selectively approached analysis.

Status? Awaziem is currently a player of Hajduk Split in Croatia who sit second in the league and is getting games regularly. You can check for yourself.

You also didn't answer the question asked of Ndah. I thought we were also analysing the lad. Don't make it only about Awaziem.

Why the unnecessary battle with your conscience? I have always wanted an AM, do you have any options I don't know about? Name them, that is all. The CM and DM positions already have some good options, but we have none at AM.

I wonder where in europe we hv this pirlo, xavi and iniesta type of midfielders touted to take over from the ones we hv in the super eagles already cheesy

It’s high time we learn how to make do with what we hv and pray better ones emerge in no distant time

To me, in the current super eagles set up if we can get any or two of eze, tim, chukwuemeka or even olise to add to the current crop in the team we re good to go

Make una continue Dey find xavi and iniesta with a nigerian passport or lineage cheesy

Oh, about the question, it is the RCB position in a back 4 or 3.

There is no battle. Just admit it. There was no need for your discourteous approach. And my talk on what the midfield needs is not limited to AM because the midfield problem isn't just an AM problem. So it wasn't about what you want... It is about what I have analysed overtime, over the years and how the options we have out there can come in and raise our middle game dynamics.

Since you already know my list, then why ask me the question? Then there is no need for me to list any.

Afterall, I bet your list has, for example, an Azeez Oseni.

And who are the GOOD options at CM please apart from Alex Iwobi? Don't call Alhassan Yusuf too. He isn't even capped yet.

And Iwobi does well for us both at CM and AM. So we have one at AM... for now.

I don't build Castles in the air. We are not getting Tim, Emeka or Olise. Olise doesn't even feel Nigerian, and I never saw him as an option. Maybe we could get Eze when he is done with his self delusion.

I know but just mentioned them as possibilities in the future but currently the trio is out of our reach

Omo I rarely have time to come here these days and when I do, I try to avoid unnecessary arguments. Whatever makes you think I had ulterior motives with my question...

You asked my reasons or the qualities I saw in Ndah, I answered, then I innocently asked you your options for the AM position, instead of answering, you started prolonging issues. Make we just leave am like that.
