Whatever angle you want to use, at the end of the day which of these states will Tinubu win in a straight election with Atiku?

Anambra
Enugu
Imo
Abia
Ebonyi
Rivers
Delta
Edo
Bayelsa
Cross River
Akwa-Ibom

grin

.... even if Osibanjo is APC candidate, he ain't gonna win any of it against Atiku.

You are holding on to Ikpeazu and Enugu.

What about Wike? If Wike supports APC in Rivers, BAT wouldn't win?

Or is it Ortom or Makinde?

APC has the structure to get 25% in every state in Nigeria. I am just wondering where all these humility is coming from. So BAT is now reducing himself to 30% in Benue, so we can magnify Atiku as the winner?

Make una take am easy with the exaggeration abeg

The only reason this election became a contest with no clear frontrunner is because of Obi.

With all the negative press on Tinubu, his health issues, and his close links with the failed Buhari government Atiku would have cleaned the floor with him in a straight contest between the 2 of them.

APC structure will struggle to get 25% in every SE state, And I doubt they ever did before. BAT cannot win Rivers even with Wike support. Max he can push APC above 25%

APC barely have any structures in Rivers, APC has not been on the ballot in Rivers gubernatorial ever

30% is a huge number in a 3 way race in a place like Benue. I expect APC to get more than 30% in Benue while the winner will depend on how the remaining numbers is shared between Obi and Atiku

How many percentile will APC get in Benue, if Obi was not on the ballot, especially seeing Ortom going against Atiku?

How many, bros?

Even the supposed online and offline influencers for Obi will be for Atiku

Instead of Obidients fighting Reno, Deji etc it will be everyone vs Tinubu

The reason you dont see online presence for Atiku is because the online PDP are now in Obis camp. Imagine that Online Obi plus on ground Atiku vs Tinubu/APC alone

But there was a Supreme Court judgement that affirm PDP Gubernatorial candidate in Ebonyi.

So which order is INEC relying on here?

If Obi was not on the ballot and Ortom goes against Atiku then APC will have a big chance of winning Benue

Which is why I said Ortom is the only Governor of the G5 that has any weight and impact. The others are not in states where the race is competitive

Ortom is a ref in Man city vs Man Utd while the others in the G5 are refs in Man city vs Dundee United

That is a straight -11 before voting starts. Atiku wont even leave Dubai t campaign anything

Out of 11 states that would most likely have gone to Atiku we now have most of them going to Obi in a landslide and people think Obi affected Tinubu more?

In essence Atiku has lost the entire SE to Obi and most likely much of the SS.

I expect Obi to win all the 5 SE states though the margin in Ebonyi, Imo and possibly Enugu might not be up to Anambra and Abia margin.

In the SS, I expect PDP to do well as it's a traditional PDP stronghold and I expect APC to pick 25% or more in most except maybe Rivers and Akwa Ibom.
To know how many people will vote Obi is to determine how many people are fed up in the present political situation. I tell you 90% of those will vote for PO.

The sign is the number of supporters he has despite being in a party without political structure.

If Rev Father Alia continues and maintain this momentum, APC will clinch Benue though the margin will not be much.

So who's votes did Obi affect in Benue?

Atiku?

I know Obi affected Atiku, but his participation affected BAT too.

Most people voting Obi outside the SE/SS, would have easily gone for BAT.

Why would they have gone for BAT though? Because he's a Southerner?

Both Atiku and BAT are muslim and BAT is even running on a muslim - muslim ticket while Atiku is running on inter-faith ticket.

Nobody is saying Obi did not affect Tinubu, but he affected Atiku more.

The SE/SS that you just glossed over is 11 states o. Atiku has potentially lost 11 states to Obi. Can you list the 11 states (or any number of states) that Tinubu has potentially lost to Obi?

Did you compare the number of people who voted to the total number of registered voters? There was total lack of interest. Those who voted were party members. And this was because there were no credible candidates. They were fed up with GEJ and yet, Buhari was no choice. So they chose to sit at home. This time, the political awareness is unprecedented. People now want their votes to count.

I can honestly tell you, I know many APC and PDP party members here is the SE who have decided to vote for PO.

Some politicians here even mix their party with that of PO. That's why they say his support is organic.

Of course, it's very possible. Same way a man from Oyo will vote for Fulani Atiku over Yoruba Tinubu

There is increased registered voters in Kwara, Oyo, Gombe, Kebbi Zamfara Jigawa.

Are all these because of Obi?
60% at least

Anyone who has suddenly awaken in this political era is most likely because of PO. You can start with me.

You do know that every election cycle, number of registered voters do go up especially from 2015 when we started having at least credible elections?

You will be surprised that at the end of the president election, total votes count might not even be more than 35m.

To be honest, I have no idea, neither do I care. I just want APC to retain Ebonyi State because of Umahi infrastructural success in the State.

He needs someone to build on it, especially any projects he couldn't complete.

I've always said that the delusion of the bat supporters is just unparalleled. cheesy

At the end of the day, it's human beings that will vote. A governor can only influence at most 20 percent of the votes and only one APC governor is on the ticket. If you think the average northerner is enthusiastic about voting bat, you need to have a strong shock absorber.

The average northerner despises bat. And by average I mean the common man. No single northerner is enthusiastic about voting the drug baron.

3 factors will define the northern electorate.
1. Creeping voter apathy due to the massive failure of Buhari.
2. Kwankaso's emergence.
3. Split choices amongst the 3.

Bat will find it difficult to crack 40% in several northern states.

If thw masses don't love you they just don't love you.

This crowd don't have the impact you think it has, because everybody knows that money is the motivating factor here.
You yourself knows that nobody looks at the drug baron who has no known history and thinks, yep, I love that man.

Tinubu is a "cover your nose and vote for me" candidate to his supporters. He simply represents their primordial sentiments. He doesn't inspire hope in anybody.
