you are misinformed. How can an Igbo be holding Igbo property. What happened after the Biafran war /creation of South East region was that the South South Igbos were asked to deny they are igbos before they could get jobs and other privileges from the government which some did but others refused. But it doesn't change the fact that they are Igbos which they are beginning to state it boldly and openly without fear. Though some are still scared because they don't want to lose the favour they are getting from the government. Also others deny due to lack of real accurate information or misinformation (Illiteracy)
