Like play like play, nobody can point me to where i can get corolla 06 gear oil on this platform .....it means people dont change transmission oil here, despite the number of mileage we accumulate weekly .

Corolla 06 uses T IV Gear oil (pronounced T4)
It written on the gear oil deep stick.
To buy, cantact contact Gazzuzz or Dru if they don't have, ask reputable sellers around u.

You ruled out the possibility, later said only electrical parts can fail without signs.

I never ruled out any possibility...go and read my reply to moonlightdrive...I think that's the beginning of this expose.

Even alternator can park up or hook at anything, it happened to me.
Pearl cars do break down without notice, if it hasn't happened to you then you are fortunate.
my alternator stopped working on the 1st around 2am after doing two 2.9/3.0 surge trips..The car slept on the road oo..I was lucky it was around my area

Even tires sef is fair enough to fail unannounced.
But you see that your shaft pulling out, I'm sorry that is as a result of negligence on your part, or on the part of the mechanic if he worked on it and didn't tighten it well.

I need your whatsapp number. I have an issue on my car I need an advice from you.

Radiator fan will wobble or blow slower for a while before it stops.
Inspect your belt before it snaps, u will notice cracks and signs of wear and tear.
Fuse is not a critical aspect, u should have spares in ur fuse box or u replace with another fuse.
As for fuel pump itself...before it completely fails, u would have been finding it hard in ur driving, driving will not be so smooth, u will have to press down pedal before car will accelerate or difficulty when climbing hills.
Even battery and kick starter will give u sign before it completely fails.
You know the sound of your car, anyday u start it and the sound is different, (whether louder or quieter) just know something is wrong or cooking.

Trust me, if u know ur car, with experience and time, u will notice when something is slightly wrong. Check it asap before it disappoints u on d highway.

Why do you people do this, is it every issue your car gives sign before it fails? The other day my alternator without prior signs just stopped charging and it got me stranded on the road. People sleep at night and don't wake in the morning without them feeling sick, how much more cars.

It's simply a lack of attention and knowledge that things like this will happen. And u didn't disappoint as u displayed same by this post u made.

Before u start your car every morning, put on the ignition and check if all indicators are working, so when something is wrong u will know.
The picture below is my dashboard. I will notice any illumination or indication in the first 10 seconds of it coming up.
If your charging indicator is working, it will come up the moment your alternator stops charging.

So you’re saying you foresee every issue in your car before it happens? Prophet Pearl Oyakhilome.

Cars are machines. They can breakdown without any notice. Those sensors are there just to guide you in most areas doesn’t mean they are 💯 efficient. No machine is even 💯 efficient to begin with. The things y’all argue about on this thread sometimes enh!

As in the thing they amaze me. The light will only come after the deed has been done. That's why it's RED unlike other signals that's YELLOW for warning.

Anytime Oil light or Battery light come on like this, just they pray. 99% of time you're bound to be stranded if it happens at night.

The moment either of those 2 red lights come on. The best thing is to park. Especially that oil pump light. Attempting to forge ahead despite the lights can cost the person a new engine. 2 Corolla engines don knock because the guys kept driving despite the warning.

Corolla engine here in Abuja is now 480,000 naira. 🤕

Brand new bus from showroom en route from Lagos to PH. At Shagamu, bus no gree move again. Later on the driver told me the throttle sensor was the cause of the problem.

I've seen a brand new Kia Sephia 2 breakdown on Lagos road in the year 2001 I think. Car still had nylon on it and everything.

Even computers, you fit on system to boot and na there e hang, wetin happen? Hard disk don go.

These things can develop fault at anytime without giving signs.
