Oga dont sound childish here.. You can withdraw a maximum of at least 20k per day. Will you not buy your pepper and transport from there.. Any transaction from 2k and above can be done online. The country is going through a transition. Even banks have deadline to returm their old notes back to CBN. If you feel the date would be extended you a sitting on a long hard black thing.

I Spent almost 1 product hour on the queue yesterday just trying to withdraw 20k. I had to spend like extra 700 just to withdraw the remaining 30k I needed from pos operators cos I needed cash not transfer for the stuffs I wanted to buy. Those ones mixed old and new money together.

Then this fool is all over the place acting as if everything is alright all over Nigeria because he withdrew less than 10k from ATM in like 3 days to deadline..

To be honest, there is nothing the CBN or anyone else can do about the scarcity of the new note given the way the idea was conceptualised from the beginning. Moreover, scarcity is pretty "normal" in Nigeria during "peak seasons." Everyone is trying to get the same thing at the same time, including POS vendors. Haba, no magician can tame the situation. Many streets don't have ATMs. So unless you work in a densely populated business district, you are less likely to get the notes this month.

The experience is comparable to what you would normally encounter during the Christmas season. But I believe that two to four weeks from today, everyone will revert to default. More people will be forced to embrace digital transactions, which, by the way, is the essence of the policy.

To completely dismiss incidences of scarcity is in.sane. Naira is indeed scarce but there is nothing anyone can do about it. CBN has a minting policy so no amount of scarcity will force the CBN print more notes than necessary. You just have to wait for the "already printed ones" to circulate properly.

I have been withdrawing the new naira note from uba ATM since Two weeks ago. Only the people from the East are complaining. It's their birth right to always complain. Funny enough non of their past and present governor have outshine governor from the other geo political in terms of infrastructure and general well being. You withdrew new naira notes but you're standing inside a banking hall. You're here saying don't believe this and that but you're standing inside the banking hall, not in front of an ATM machine. Those banks you mentioned, none of their ATMs are dispensing money at all since last week, talk-less of dispensing new notes. It depends on location, Sha. But you'all should remember Nigeria doesn't start from Abuja and end in Lagos. There are other states and cities too.
