Born and raised by parents that sees education as total waste of time.
From primary to secondary school no one was there for me but God.
I dropped out of secondary school six times because of money.
I also dropped out of college of education once, but later graduate.

If an orphan like me can do it, you can do it.
Never give up on your dreams.
If you will you can ,only the lazy fall out

If it’s not 14 year olds without life experiences trolling my mentions here, it is these types. Lol. The only positive I’ll say is, you don’t look a day over 29. I guess all the trekking in school kept you fit.
who the eff are you? Are you not also on the same nairaland. Are you 14 or you belong to the op's category?

I know you already acquired a skill, otherwise you wouldn't have been able to train yourself, besides at 40, you're probably married and independent.

But I'm saying, what's the point of still going to School? your skill will likely still pay you more than any job you can get with that certificate in Nigeria. Most jobs for Nigeria nor de pay pass 150k.

If it's about being a literate, anyone who finished Secondary School can perfectly read and speak good English. You shouldn't have bothered with higher institution abeg.
i agree with you. But i guess he is happier with the certificate. Nigerians like certificate you know.
Lets rejoice with him.

Congratulations brother. You have inspired others who may be having challenges with their education not to give up. That's what life is all about. A lot of young people easily give up just cos some things didn't happen as at when expected, some even commit suicide for meagre things like exam failure, debts etc, whereas life is all about overcoming challenges & obstacles.

I pray that God gives you an opportunity to apply your knowledge and qualification to something worthwhile.

Cheers 🍾🍾🥂🥂

All those lilly livered kids that will just face one small challenge and will go and buy poisonous substances should come and learn. Life is though, and only the though in the heart can keep on. No matter what you face today, just look around and see people 100times worse than ur own.
Congratulation bro. Keep on fighting to win higher and conquer all. You will soon laugh uncontrollably to ur success.
Is tough not though
