PS. I am not a Christain neither am I a Muslim. I am not wired to have anything to do with religions that supports or once supported the killing of children, women and innocent people.

Christians are not required to pay tithes. That's an old testament law. Christians are adherents of the new testament.
Furthermore, the Jewish God in the old testament doesn't need tithes for anything. He only commended them to bring tithes so there will be food (in His house) for the Levites (Priests) who didn't have lands to plant and produce food.
And that was the Jewish God.
Those who follow the tithing command are following the Jewish God of the old testament and should not frown at animal sacrifices, conquests by wars, polygamy, etc.
The new testament aka Christianity is the believe in salvation through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ as the lamb of God (I don't know who offered that sacrifice and to whom but that would be a story for another day). Christian are required to pursue salvation by just believing (faith) and preaching (and living) the gospel (works). In Christianity, Charity (giving out of free will) replaced tithing (paying by force and with threats).

He is better than the god that is defended and protected with AK-47 with which its followed use to kill those who refuse to follow him. Our God is Almighty.He doesn't use the tithes but commands it for our own good.
