I think it is a good plan that is being terribly executed.
Truth is this may help against bandits and kidnapping (may be, we cant be sure), but it is not working against vote buying.

My experience this afternoon.
I am currently lodging in a hotel in Osogbo. For security reasons I would not be able to disclose much information about the place.

Some guys came to the restaurant and they were all lousy. It was obvious they were political boys.
They were talking loudly and one was warning another person in their group that they must not cheat him o. He was asked to mobilize voters against the election coming soon. They are already making list and planing to mobilize people to vote. These people would be taken care of in groups.

I would not mention the party here but you guys should be able to guess.

As for Obi supporters, you are the only ones that think this would affect politicians.
The bank managers all around the country are compromizing. The new notes is extremely scarce.
These politicians are already designing other ways of buying votes.
On election day you will be shocked and realize that Nigerians suffered for nothing.

What i realized about most people discussing politics online is, they dont know jack. They have never been card carrying members of any party, they have never worked with any politician. They only use their emotions to discuss politics. I was a member of ACN back in Akure and worked with Dr. Olu Agunloye the former SDP Chairman. I have stayed in his house several times and also worked with several politicians in Ondo state. In Osun State my family are very involved in politics. If you have ever worked seriously with politicians you would laugh at comments you see on nairaland. You have no idea honestly. On election day it would be a big shock how hard it is to change this Nigeria

Disclaimer. I am not a tinubu supporter, cos i know obidients would think i am. I know you guys really want the best for nigeria, i understand, but you just dont understand how deep Nigeria's problem is. Fighting these old politicians is not that easy.

Then how many people's 'own' personal agenda can the current political structure serve? Yearning for a country where your relatives or friends (if at all you're insulated already), don't have to queue up for fuel, or grin due to epileptic power supply needed for business, is now 'own' personal agenda? I pity some of you who don't know you've not seen a glimpse of the better days older folks have seen in this country, yet are jumping up and down thinking you're enjoying.
