■ What if Jesus died for His sins? A Carpenter's son should know better than claim to be God... so his village people borrowed some nails from his workshop, and some good wood too, and crucified the poor young man... Yahweh watching helplessly. I and my fellow Africans were here minding our business, just like we were when NOAH came to check on us with his boat. We sheltered him from the flood that had chased him home, and he never mentioned our story when he got back... water wey wan kill am.... na we send goat and cow give am wey im use start small suay business.. but dat na story for another day. Anyways, Jesus promised He'd be back in a quick time, but it's been like 2000 years and counting.. I think it's time we start accepting the fact that this might be Yahoo disguised as Salvation. I mean all our eyes dey look Cross, people dey thief the things we suppose chop.. but maybe no be Jesus plan be that.
■There are no mansions in heaven, just as you don't see oil pipelines going to the sky..... Heaven is below your feet, the ground on which you stand. It is where you come from, and hopefully, where you'd return.... Maybe Jesus is just a big Scam, maybe? undecided He promised you love like Yahoo, but has He really treated you well? All the prayer you have prayed to him to help your country, has he answered any one? He has used HOPE and BELIEF to cage you into thinking habits that keep you in deep fear.... steadily under pressure....

Take your mind back from Christ, he couldn't save his. He won't save yours.

2. Your focus is on the wrong things.

■ Jesus Christ said He came only for the Lost sheep of Israel meaning that, just like YHWH who said He is God only of Israel, Jesus Christ should be of no concern to those who are not of the lost sheep of Isreal since you cannot benefit from that which agreement He represents anyway.
■ those who should look forward to His return do so by doing the work that is required of them right here on earth as they live.

So, if Jesus Christ were a lie, then they wouldn't be able to do any of the work that is required of them as His followers, to begin with. But since He is not a lie, not only are they able to experience Him even as they live, and able to do the work that He required of them, and are then able to look forward to His return convinced that He is indeed who He said He is. undecided

3. How did you come about this conclusion of yours? undecided

1. Yup. He died for his Sins. Claimed He was God's Son. Claimed his mother was a Virgin. His village people rightfully diagnosed it as insanity, wrongfully tortured and killed him. He needed an asylum, not a cross..

2. I am not Christian. It is your job as one to focus on Christ. I'm not under such obligation.

3. Cool for Israel. How e use concern me as Igbo man?

4. Great. I can't judge anyone who's hoping to hook up with a friend that died over two thousand years ago.. I just want that particular mental disease to stop spreading.

5. My life experience. Maybe yours is different, you can share.

You can't judge anyone...but you think your life experience and Tribal background ought to be of relevance to such a one? This same life experience and Tribal background aren't even of relevance to your politicians in Nigeria but you think they ought to be brought in on this discussion? undecided
Ok. undecided

Yeah. Your Nigeria and it's politicians are bleeped. Go get a PVC.

See the threat title. If you don't find it relevant, move to another thread. You rarely see me on your threads..they have no relevance to me until I put my presence in by making a post. You can always delete yourself.

I did respond to the thread title then you chose to throw in your Tribal background and life experience as if it should somehow matter as far as Jesus Christ and got me wondering why folks like you even spend your lifes on these things when their are so many more important ventures you could engage yourselves in. undecided

I do this here because it is required of me to. But why do you? undecided

1. That would have made more sense in a discussion such as this, don't you think? undecided

2. I tell you anyways since I asked you why you bother doing this. Or do you also frequent, say, a KKK/skinhead forum as well asking them silly questions such as "what if you woke up in black skin tomorrow?" undecided
