I've told the people that cared to listen, both offline and online that Greenwood is not going anywhere. The club didn't professionally handle the case just to cut him loose after he's been cleared of all charges. It just doesn't makes sense.
If they wanted to cut him loose, the best time to do that was during the heat of the incident. He's on a cheap salary 50-75k I think and they could have afford to pay him off, but they didn't. They probably know more about the issue than the public.

He'll be here by the start of next season and he'll play for us again

I am hearing that some players don't really want him back, and there are fears that this might derail the dressing room. I am sure Greenwood himself is quietly beefing a few of the players. People like Rashy that allegedly unfollowed him and started posting lovey-dovey pics of him and his GF.

Only few people don't want him back on moral standards, the vast majority don't want him back because of his talent, a player of his calibre is an asset to us

Take a quick survey of those that do not want him in football again, pogba's parody (more good players means more success, they don't want success just to prove pogba's right), Ronaldo fan boys (obviously we all know why), those LUHG(they just want to see us burn, although they hide under glazer out, their hypocrisy can been seen from a far), and they last one's rival fans (if ńa us too, we go do the same)

I've heard rumors of United player coming against him coming this season, of course he can't come back immediately into the team now, he needs the sancho treatment also, I'm betting on the later part of our season/next season

Na here problem go dey be that, i hope the club handles this issue properly to favour all parties. Truth is United need Greenwood more than he needs United, cos he can easily move abroad to continue his football.

You are spot on with regards to lack of leadership causing the response from individual players when it happened last year. Under better leadership the players probably would have been told to stay out of it, rather than appearing to throw their teammate under the bus.

Pertaining to why Rashy (and some others) might not want him, it is hard to know what is going on in each person's mind. Some people might truly be fearful of him coming back to outshine them but there might be people in that squad who have a real hatred for anything assault-related based on their own experiences or experiences of family members.

Yes more than half of the United players unfollowed Greenwood on Instagram which included De gea, Fred and even Mctominay because they saw him as a competition not because they just heard a tape recording of him attempting to rape and commit sexual assault on his girlfriend.
