Lol. Peter Obi the false messiah (who happens to own a large stake in Fidelity bank, and has unfettered access to the new notes) has told them and other suffering masses to keep suffering and smiling while enduring Emefiele's policy, while encouraging the remaining 50% POS operators that are still fleecing hapless Nigerians to keep at it, because he hopes the policy would favour his electoral ambition.

But they shouldn't worry, president Tinubu will surely alleviate their suffering after taking office.

yes, we can suffer a few more days until after the election so that we can elect credible candidates who will put an end to the suffering of Nigerians, not these old men whose only plan to ascend power is to buy it with cash.

Buhari, pls allow us to suffer for 3 more weeks. We have been suffering since I was born, so extra ,3 weeks before we get it right will not kill us

POS operators are nuisance government created because of their defectiveness and need to be corrected.

Point of Sale is not a bank for withdrawals and deposits. We have a financial institutions to handle such.

POS is another time bomb to the society, hence the need to shot them out.

Government can't brag that they create jobs through that channel. If they do, it means they have no shame.

They will..

Just watchout.

A better news will be 100% of POS operators close shop

Like BDC POS operators have no place in a modern economy

They are leeches who seek to profit in a transaction without providing value

They are unregulated also

People should learn to use card to make debit payments at a POS terminal directly owned by the vendor

Vendors and business owners need to get a POS terminal to recieve payments

stop using excessive cash, it is not proper in a working economy

You will only facilitate thieves, kidnappers and tax dodgers

Big payments should be done by Bank transfer

Where do you expect people to get the small cash?
How many 9ja people has cars.....? So taxi and Keke should get POS machine?
Mama put should get POS machine abi?
U guys thinking is totally backward due to hate and inferior complex to say the least....
No matter, u believe your president is jubril from Sudan..

In sane counties POS operators should not exist or should be a last resort, there was a time in Nigeria where banks set up atms in many places, but since pos became a thing, banks no longer set up atms they just send pos agents.

When I was in university alakahia had an atm machine, same with Choba and I think aluu own was under construction, but I went back to alakahia the atm has stop existing, aluu own was stopped and pos guys filled in the street.

The greed in Nigeria is too much

But people are accusing them that, they hoarding the cash.

If only you ask a POS operator how they managed to get cash this period?

Another day I went to the market to get some stuffs right in front of me a market woman was selling old naira notes for a POS operator.
#100,000 naira for 20k.

Now, tell me if you're a POS operator how wil handle your personal transactions?

I queried the market woman immediately.

Even though, I'm not in support of the policy, didn't you guys find a way of defending border closure? were Nigerians not affected then?

The most surprising thing is that some people did not even know Tinubu is trying to play politics with his outburst about the Naira, man is stylishly separating himself from his party.
