The 36 States Governors have agreed.. , have we the citizens agreed? The notes should only be used side by side after the elections. 5 Likes |

Most of the legit old notes are already in. Only those with illegal money are scared of putting it into the banking sphere. The focus now is distribution of the new notes. If not for sabotage, I see no reason why the CBN that can provide election materials in one single day all over the country can't make new notes circulate all over the country on a routine basis. 2 Likes 1 Share |

See, let us forget politics. El rufai is making sense here. The best way to change the notes is for the bank to collect them and not return the old notes into circulation. Let us continue to use the notes, but once it enters the bank, it should not be returned to circulation. Simple 4 Likes |

Calm down If you pen your logic to be accepted Tinubu will win this election and there is nothing you can do about it, except God infinite mercy. As an obidient don't pen such opinion down. Conceal .. Election is February 25 For now the people will be afraid of accepting money to sell their vote |

Brendaniel: Poor planning led us to this point. Changing currency is a very sensitive project that should have been properly planned in advance and then implemented in phases. It's the common man that is suffering here. Our politicians are not the ones standing in queues for hours trying to get cash. They know how to beat the system. 3 Likes |

Sorry to say this, but I think you were not born when we were taught history. Naira redesign has been happening like more than 4 times since the introduction of Naira. In recent times, Obasanjo did it and even introduced higher denominations , Jonathan did it also. All previous swaps took less than 3 months and was barely noticed. It is not rocket science that should take 3 years. Problem here is that the timing was wrong, it has always been a big risk to make a major policy decision in a political year because saboteurs will attempt to useless it If this redesign was done in June, within a month, all notes would have been in circulation without any upheaval Hopium: 2 Likes |

We no free,we no gree That will kill and make nonsense of the objectives and gains of the new notes . They are only after the cash they stashed away in wharehouses to buy votes and and conceal their loots No extension Mr governor. Put in motion great resources to circulate the new currencies, considering the cashless policy. |
