So which other Court has the jurisdiction to hear a matter between 3 states and the federal government in Nigeria?

Some of them just come online and write nonsense. Education eludes them.

El Rufai organized a meeting in Kaduna yesterday and urged the people to continue using the old naira notes. He told them Tinubu would review the policy when he wins but people thought he was kidding. Now I see.

Kogi, Zamfara and Kaduna which made this move are all states governed by APC. We now know the party that has the interest of the common man at heart. This thing would pain those who thought they could win elections by inflicting pains on the masses.

God bless incoming President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

This is going to get more votes for Tinubu. They don't know nothing. He's the only one that cares amongst the candidates. He kicked against it from the beginning. The pains were becoming too much for the masses. God will punish all the enemies of the masses who supported this satanic policy.

Good judgment. Those of you attacking the Supreme Court are doing so because you are not affected by the current scarcity of cash. And that is selfishness. Over 80% of Nigerians are severely in pains and can barely feed. I don't know how many of you are helping your poor neighbours, family members and friends in this trying moment. When someone in need call you for help, your response will be that you don't have.

The aim of the new naira notes is already defeated. As long as this government has no will power to fight corruption, it can never succeed. This is because those fighting corruption are themselves overly corrupt.

So, they should stop punishing millions of Nigerians because of New naira notes.

When the federal high court came with the court injunction that the date will not be shifted, I knew the Supreme Court would counter it.

We fight shadows and leave the important things. What are we saying about the 70 Trillion hidden in several accounts discovered by the EFCC chairman? We are all mute concerning this.

New naira notes swap cannot stop vote buying. After all, vote buying was done with dollars in the party primaries.

Let's just be wise and do the right thing. Vote your conscience. Don't sell your vote. Not even 2 billion naira will make me vote this useless party known as APC. And more so, because of the Muslim Muslim ticket.

Hmm..all because of vote trading? The desperation on the part of the governors/politicians should also be channel to the general well-being of the society. Posterity is there to judge us all, whether good or bad.
Shalom!

So many hypocrites hiding under patriotism because there presidential candidates are mute on this anti people policy, meanwhile the policy is biting them more than the elites, this is what Fela Kuti once said suffering and smiling... Emancipate yourselves from mental slavery bigots!!!

They don't mind suffering even if the suffering end their lives because they think the dumb and idiotic policy will hurt certain people and prevent them from winning election when in fact the elites have zero problem securing new notes.

It's the demented and classic "The enemy of my enemy is my friend" syndrome.

They hate Nigeria so much that they are praying for Nigeria to burn and implode.

The problem now is will CBN direct commercial Banks to reload ATMs with old naira? Will Buhari comply with the directives or they will apply for stay of execution pending the hearing and determination of the suit?

There can't be stay of execution. This is an injunction not the final ruling.

The order of Supreme Court takes precedence over that of any lower court in respect of the same subject matter. It is just elementary knowledge in law.

That lower Court's order has become a mere academic exercise by this order of the Supreme Court.

You don't talk like that. Emefiele is very stupid and God will punish him for this.

In my local government, there's no single commercial bank, people don't have bank account. So what happened to the people there? They travel like 80 kilometers to get to the nearest bank with their thousands of naira. On getting there you're given a tally number 581. From morning till 4pm only 110 people were attended to. They have to travel back and come again. Emefiele will regret this bcoz his motive has failed.
So you want to hold the rest of the country back cos your LG doesnt have a bank? undecided

It is not Emefiele's fault that your LG is under-developed and doesnt have a bank. That priviledge belongs to your corrupt Governor, LG chairman, legislators, community leaders etc. But your ignorance, stupidity and/or selfishness blinds you to that fact.

BTW pls leave God out of your inane posts

God bless elrufai
God bless governors of kogi and zamfara
God bless the supreme court justices
God bless the suffering masses of Nigeria
God punish Emiefele and all those who supported this satanic policy at a time like this.

Zombiediots and Mikanoids how market na? This has obviously given Tinubu more votes in this election. He's the only one that cares. He spoke against these demons from the beginning. Obi and Atiku were playing politics. It has backfired against them. They'll both end in shame. This is not the first time we're changing currency but these demons made it look like hell for the poor masses.

God punish Emiefele, the cabals and all those that supported this demonic policy. Shame to you all.

The deadline is on The 10th in 2 days
The matter is extremely important and urgent
The Supreme court is right to hear the matter

Note
I didn't talk about the decision

But there is no time to be going to appeal and counter appeal
No time

The Supreme Court has both Original Jurisdiction and Appellate Jurisdiction. It has exclusive original Jurisdiction in matters between the Federal Government and State(s) Government as well as on matters between States of the federation in so far as the dispute involves questions of law or fact

The northern governors and the Supreme Court did the right thing - the country is on the verge of a total breakdown or law and order. Emefiele should have printed enough money. He has only himself to blame for the failure of his policy.
Printed which enough money. Let me ask you, what is the objective of the currency change?

Ok
It means the judgement will be copied to the CBN,office of the president, minister of finance and the bankers union .
So it also means that the CBN governor will needd to issue a fr ah directive to all the banks
Then the CBN will need to assembly it's legal team to go to the supreme court on this issue first before another directive can be given

Now if the Emefiele disregards the supreme court ...........the supreme court can automatically ask for his arrest

I dey look DSS and NASS with very sharp crocodile mouth and shark teeth

They're waiting for him to fall into the trap. Lol....🤣. The way they'll rush him ehn

Unfortunately it is the CBN that will issue directive on wether to obey the supreme court or disobey the supreme court .This judgement has nothing to do with Mr President

The ultimate power rest with the masses. Who's Emefiele?

Let me ask you, how long does it take for your transfer on phone to go through?
I transferred #10,000 to my daughter in school since yesterday and she hasn't seen it and I've been debited.
What kind of people are we? And that LP Obi idiot is supporting Emefiele? He's very stupid.
Today, some students could not go to school bcoz their parents doesn't have cash for transport fare.

As I speak, I have only #150 on me. I was at Fcmb yesterday to try my luck. There was no money on the ATM machine in spite of that we queued in anticipation. I left there at 4 pm without money. I trekked back home bcoz transport fare was #250 and I had only #150 on me.

God will punish Emefiele and Peter Obi for supporting this nonsense. He's really demonstrated openly his partisanship. The first CBN governor to be deeply involved in politics. The truth will surely come out. This is Nigeria, confession time will soon come. But I say, that God will punish everyone that are responsible for this pain on Nigeria and Nigerians.
