Our deficient banking and comms infrastructure is why it will that that long (3 years min). No where can anyone reap where you didn't sow. There's so much to be done to improve our banking network. What about cyber security? Go and verify - our banking infrastructure gets penetrated more than 90% of during attacks. What about orientation?

On a sincere note, I won't claim to have a knowledge of what's being printed but I read the CBN was supplying new notes at 10% of old notes.

With the daily restriction to 20k for individuals, and every bank delivering what was in their vaults, that 10% should have been more than enough.

1. Sack Omiefele

2. Extend the deadline until the end of 2023. Subject to further extension.

3. Let the new and old naira notes co-exist

4. The CBN gradually replace old notes with new notes

5. After stability of supply, gradually initiate and enforce cashless policy. This is when CBN should start paying attention to the banking infrastructure.

6. Once cashless policy starts getting a solid footing, start withdrawing new notes until the CBN's supply target is met.

These should take a minimum of 3 years
