You're missing the whole point. It's pretty simple but it'd be hard for you to understand because bigotry's beclouded your sense of reasoning. Atiku could have effortlessly pulled this off because people are tired of the APC, Obi with his greed left the PDP thinking he stands a chance, there by reducing whatever little votes that would have made the Atiku win. The votes are now split between LP amd PDP and the Yorubas have Obi to thank for it grin making Tinubus victory a smooth one

Let me help you portrait it little. With Kwankwaso, Atiku, Datti and Shettima up North contesting for President and VP, the suppose bloc vote Tinubu is planning to inherit is under the mold, and will be shared among them. Note also that the North sees Tinubu as a fake Muslim who can't recide the Koran.

When you come to South, we have Obi and Tinubu. For sure Obi dominate SE and SS and sure of 50% and above in each of the state, coming down to SW, Obi is sure of 25% and above in each of the SW state. Note also that Obi will have some reasonable vote up North like Abuja, Benue etc.

In conclusion, Obi will win.

So you actually believe Tinubu would win. Where is he going to get the votes to win? So you believe Yoruba would vote their own person whereas the northerners would abandon their person to vote a Yoruba? Impossible. Don't forget this is Nigeria where people vote according to tribal lines. However only Igbos are different. Once you present a better candidate, they embrace him and vote against their person.. Don't give yourself false hope, Tinubu wins only in Yorubaland which isn't enough to make him president

The Supreme Court judgement on the ex parte motion was written in plain baby English and anyone struggling to understand it yet calls himself a lawyer is just being mischievious or criminally-minded

Below is what the Supreme Court held:

In his ruling, the Justice revealed that after careful consideration of the motion exparte, this application is granted as prayed.

An order of Interim Injunction restraining the federal government through the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) or the commercial banks from suspending or determining or ending on Feb. 10, the time frame with which the now older version of the 200, 500 and 1,000 denomination of the naira may no longer be legal tender pending the hearing and determination of their motion on notice for interlocutory injunction.”

It is high time NJC and NBA sanction lawyers making a mockery of the SC on this issue.

The injunction is an interlocutory decision, it subsists pending the determination of the suit to protect the res.

In simpler terms, the injunction will be binding on the parties until the Supreme Court decides on the matter.

For instance, If a State Government wants to demolish a building and the owner gets an injunction from a high court of the state to prevent the demolition, the injunction will last until the high court decides whether the Government has the right to demolish the building or not because if the Government destroys the building before the judgement of the court, the government will not be able to rebuild the exact building if the court rules in favour of the owner of the building.

The central bank of Nigeria and the FG will not be able to repair the damages that will occur because of the rejection of old naira notes if the judgment favours the State Governors at the end. The injunction will therefore subsist till the matter is determined.

If judgment is given in 2030, That's when the injunction will elapse grin

No you are wrong. You are not even seeing Malami's game. Go and.mark this, on 15th the FG will argue its case and the injunction vacateď.

Malami has done the underground work before confidently coming to tell u they will obey the supreme court.

Supreme court will hear argument of jurisdiction on the 15th...

AND

Possibly adjourn the ruling on the argument for like 3weeks..

With that, APC Governors would have achieved their aim of buying time till after elections..

No be Naija again grin grin grin

Confused set of human beings. First it was the notes were dyed and of poor quality. Second you supported it because it suits the narrative that it'll prevent Tinubu from buying votes. You go out and queue under the sun waiting to withdraw notes for hours, criticize the policy and at still turn around to say you don't want an extension because you think it affects the chances of thhe ruling party winning the election? What is really wrong with you?😁
they are hypocrite and I dey pepper the ones I have around me with simple logic without necessarily fighting anyone. How can a right thinking man blame Buhari or CBN for the suffering yet still support the exact same policy he is blaming Buhari for.

The mopped up money is still in the economy. It is still with the banks and not cbn. The only way mopped up money can leave the economy is if cbn increases the cash reserve ratio with banks.

But will CBN return mopped money into the economy? No. Sadly the scarcity continues

Just like every institution in Nigeria ( Police, Custom, Army, Legislature, civil service etc..) The highest judicial arm of the country SC, is now dancing naked in the market square to the drums of the evil political elites who after totally bastardizing the 2 lower courts wants to bring down the whole house, all in a bid to satisfy their selfish cravings. I wount be surprised soon if some other miscreants will start dragging the CBN to court to challenge interest rate decision of the CBN in the nearest future! The country is gradually sliding into anarchy

You don't get it... Over 80% of the old notes is collected already. CBN has the old notes already, especially the #1,000 note.

CBN has also stated that each state of their branches will still be collecting the money. I'm very certain that after 15th CBN won't shift the deadline

I am certain that once Tinubu wins the election on February 25th, Emefiele would copy Diezani Allison-Madueke and proceed on foreign leave until Buhari's tenure is over.

He would not set his corrupt and conniving feet on Nigerian soil again.
But Emefiele is Governor Central Bank of Nigeria not central bank of iragbiji.whether or not Tinubu emerges president of the Iragbiji town union,it will not affect him

How we they answer questions not meant for them? They're not even part of the suit cos The Federal High court has already ruled in their favour previously on the matter.

They're only halting out of goodwill. They never breached any law as regarding to the printing and distributing of the new notes

It was a poorly thought out Policy.. Like I said somewhere.. The cashless Policy can not stop vote buying, they only caused the masses avoidable pains.. in my exact words "In any case, they must be myopic in thinking to believe a certain cashless policy can stop any myopic thinking individual who wishes to still sell his or her vote, when it is obvious that they can still get paid through any other sources..Parties will still buy votes from those shallow thinking fellows who wish to sell,so why kill the masses?

It is only when a government is imterested in the rule of law that you can be sure of court orders being obeyed.

Don't you remember the case of Tinubu vs Obj in respect of Lagos state allocation? Obj ignored the supreme court's judgement till he left office. People just shouted for nothing.

It took the YarAdua administration to honour that supreme court order.

Na 9ja we dey!

The problem is, court case don't get that resolved, even if malami kept it a secret it still won't work, the other lawyer are already looking for loopholes to extend and to be honest, there is a good chance it will.

Btw, why would any Nigerian be against the extension, I still have old notes in my wallet, I haven't touched the 500, or 200 new notes, the extention will reduce tension and those storing the new notes will be forced to use it.
