Hello All,

I am relocating to Ottawa this summer with my family. We landed last year and we hope the plantets align well for us.

I have been benefiting from some of the settlement services in advance of our relocation and thought I should share this with those of you with PR looking to move as well.

This is my list of websites and things to do:

1. https://nextstopcanada.ca/
2. https://aeipsuccess.ca/eligibility
3. https://www.jvstoronto.org/pre-arrival/
4. https://outpostrecruitment.com/blog/
5. https://accesemployment.ca/
6. Update your resumé using the templates in 4. above
7. Connect to people on linkedIN and continue to post updates on here so we can sharpen the saw together.

Will appreciate if anyone has tips for living and working in Ottawa for a family of 5.

Hello, I am a young professional and an international student from Nigeria currently working in Mississauga. I am in search of a private room in the same area as I am in need of a convenient and comfortable place to stay. As a non-smoker, I do not have any pets, but I am open to living with them if necessary. Thank you for taking the time to consider my request for a room in Mississauga.

Notwithstanding, if anyone knows any agent who can assist should pls share their contact.

Hi guys,I want to book a Turkish Airlines flight to Calgary. There's a 15hour layover at Montréal Airpot.Ethiopian Airlines has a similar cost but much less transit time, but I want a new experience as I have used Ethiopian Airlines many times before. My question is is it permitted to leave Montréal Airpot during the 15-hour transit time to go see friends/do some sight-seeing?

Good day everyone, please is there anyone here in corner brook, Newfoundland, or anywhere in Newfoundland?
I just want any valuable pointers about accommodation, fellow students in the school, jobs a student can do when school starts, or even any WhatsApp group to associate with Nigerians in the province.
also, can I come months before resumption since I got the visa early?
I recently got a passport request for my program to start in fall 2023, at the College of North Atlantic, corner brook campus, Newfoundland.
