Nobody is against Naira redesign if it is done in a sensible manner. What Nigerians are against is political undertones in its redesign which the CBN is pursuing to the detriment of the masses. The CBN is a monetary/economic agency of government and not a political party.

Every sensible person knows the right thing. Emefiele should be sacked! How can you subject over 200 million people to unnecessary hardship. Nobody is against your bloody policy but replace our old notes so that those of us who make legitimate money won't suffer.

They should print more notes.

Very simple , print more new naira notes, very useless incomplete CBN and buhari, you collect all our old naira and refuse to give us the new ones, is that not wickedness, buhari and that useless CBN man are very wicked people suffering Nigerians for nothing, e no go better for them

Very wicked and confused man, just like Naanu. He is supporting the naira policy against innocent Nigerians and at the same time telling his gullible followers at campaign rallies using the same naira policy against APC for making people to go through hell at bank ATM.

Redesigning these naira notes is not a bad thing, but the steps the CBN is taking is very bad.

For those who didn't understand what the council of state said; they basically told Emefiele that redesigning the naira is good but enough new notes should be injected into the system first before banning use of the old notes. That means for now, old and new notes should go together like governor El Rufai of Kaduna suggested.
