Unfortunately for Buhari, this is a democracy and not military rule and he is not a politician. There is a limit to his power. If all the APC Governors band against him, it is difficult if not impossible for him to win them. And that is the situation that is unravelling. Fair enough. Mind you NIgeria has had many cabals and they all eventually lost out. There was once a cabal in the Yaradua government that kept denying the health of the President, they lost out. Under GEJ there was also a cabal that did everything against Buhari. Under Buhari it's no difference. If Tinubu wins fair and square he will be declared. Remember, he has almost all Fulani governors with him too. Even those you call cabals know they don't have monopoly in this country. OBJ did everything to get a third term but was shown the way out. MKO Abiola's case is totally different from today's reality.
