The Supreme Court Judgement on ex parte motion stands. Old naira remains a legal tender.

Folks can now start suing Mr Emefiele in his personal capacity, the CBN, any bank or institution that rejects it and ask for their commital to prison or pay compensation to them.
The order expires today and has not been extended by the Supreme Court.

Better look for how to use those notes quickly if not you go keep am for family museum to show future children our old currency
Keep shut, I still use it today, it's still very much in circulation.

Why a Nigerian will be happy others will lose their money surprise me, and you want me to support PO.

Most of you are so stupid, you think if Tinubu or Atiku want to buy vote, they need the old notes, I don't think there's any managing director of a bank that will say no to any of them.

Imagine the Senate president visit a bank to exchange 200 million of old note, he won't even leave his car before they felt it.

Btw, if they suspend the old notes, it will be easier for them to buy votes because everyone will be so cash starved that even 2k of new notes will do the trick.

Bayelsa and Edo joined on side of government (respondents) meaning that PDP states are supporting this cruel policy implementation by CBN. They will never be forgotten as among those on the side of oppressors (CBN and cabal). Nigerians! Know your enemies now!!! PDP and LP and their candidates and supporters including Emefiele and cabal are the oppressors of Nigeria. Buhari is just being used like Mumu front for all evil people.

I only pity the masses following politicians to "do stubborn head" it is clear the naira redesign policy will be sustained till after election I mean irrespective of the judgement on 22nd which is already 3 days to election many masses would have adjusted to not having or collecting the old notes.. it's only going to favor politicians and I doubt if states will make FG to bend on the policy. The way forward is to vote out APC and all they represent there's no explanation or convictions they have to offer. It's a sign of responsive citizens, Nigeria will be the joke of century and ridiculing object if after all these experience they still vote in APC it shows the citizens are foolish and doesn't deserve respect in any other nation they are residing. Don't make the mistake of enabling incompetency

A drunken legal expert 🤣🤣🤣🤣

The fact that the CBN is not joined it the suit has created a leeway for CBN to reject the old notes.

Well, i advise you to collect all the old notes in your state of residence, if you can't spend them, go to the banks, if they reject them, go to the CBN, and if they still reject them as from on 20th, take them to ECOWAS court🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Sorry oo. I do transfer to them using my app there's mobile phone in every home today . Via the USSD, you can send any amount to anyone. That said, the suffering affects everyone but the alternative channels are also there. I've never sent my parents cash but transfer. That makes some people more vulnerable than others. I expect normalcy to be restored soon. God bless Nigeria

Many are mad but few are roaming.. Direct your frustration to the right zone, am not the cause of your wailing.. And I never told you to vote anybody so you can take your stupidity out of my mention.. Whether you scream from now till tomorrow, it won't change the fact that the banks and grade A companies won't collect the old notes..

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣..... Supreme Court is now a shadow of itself!!!!!!

What a very useless adjournment....
This case is a very critical case this period.... The SC should know that we don't need adjournment we just need a direct judgement if the old currency is still legal tender or not....
That's why the first adjournment sef, wasn't taken seriously because time was already going for CBN deadline...
Now that most banks and businesses are no longer accepting the old notes, this particular adjournment from the SC is extremely irrelevant and unnecessary because what is happening (rejection of the old notes) will spread and more people will reject it....
Now see date of next court , Feb 22, just three days short of election....
Too bad....
This is what happens when the judiciary encroaches on the decisions of the executive.....
You will need a loud speaker, you think the case will just come to an end because its your family meeting lol.

By 22nd 5 new states will join and another week will be added, most of you are just kids, you have no idea how anything work, you think the supreme Court is a football club that if you shout loud enough, they will change their manager or sell a player lol!

You are in for a very disappointing show, what a whole SGF can't do, even the president can't do anything until the case is resolved, keep dreaming.
Re: Supreme Court Adjourns New Naira Note Suit Till February 22 by famology(m): 11:14am On Feb 15, 2023
The whole idea is to drag the interim order until after the election. Even on the next adjourned date, more governors will join and it'll be adjourned again. As long as the interim order subsists, the old notes continue to be legal tender. Tinubu will win this election and everything will be reversed with Emiefele sent to jail.

MURIC.....what sayest thou??
Emilokan is the one suffering right now, using 2k to buy 5k from his hard earned money. Tinubu will win the election irrespective of the policy, our concern is that some people doesn't want election to hold.

These so called leaders probably do not have common goal. Buhari probably missed it on this. He should address this as soon as possible.

Besides, Has legal process become this tedious?

The Judge adjourned the case wanting to arrive at a dead case after the damaged has been done.

What exactly is Tinubu's stake in this Naira issue??!... Why does his name keep popping up?!!

So he can't win an election without old notes still in circulation?!!

... That's seriously suspicious!!!

I kept telling those around me to disregard the February 15 date by the SC and focus on the February 10 CBN deadline date and for them to dispense of all their old notes over the weekend. We are all suffering but I believe the Naira redesign should be encouraged by all and sundry. Looking at the CBN countdown clock, it is very clear that the CBN is not going back on this matter.

To anybody still doing "strong head" and transacting with the old/illegal notes... just dey play grin
