🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣..... Supreme Court is now a shadow of itself!!!!!!

What a very useless adjournment....
This case is a very critical case this period.... The SC should know that we don't need adjournment we just need a direct judgement if the old currency is still legal tender or not....
That's why the first adjournment sef, wasn't taken seriously because time was already going for CBN deadline...
Now that most banks and businesses are no longer accepting the old notes, this particular adjournment from the SC is extremely irrelevant and unnecessary because what is happening (rejection of the old notes) will spread and more people will reject it....
Now see date of next court , Feb 22, just three days short of election....
Too bad....
This is what happens when the judiciary encroaches on the decisions of the executive.....

People around me are already rejecting old notes since yesterday bro.
That was before today but if the SC adjourns then anyone including Emefiele who rejects it is playing with fire.
CBN gov may be jailed or convicted las las to let everyone know their place.
Election holds in 10 days. Once Asiwaju wins, old notes will remain till December and Emefiele will be fired.

The Supreme Court Judgement on ex parte motion stands. Old naira remains a legal tender.

Folks can now start suing Mr Emefiele in his personal capacity, the CBN, any bank or institution that rejects it and ask for their commital to prison or pay compensation to them.

No offense but you uttering nonsensical words.

To all Nigerians suffering this, I apologise on behalf of the CBN and FG. You're not alone, I'm also among those feeling the heat. Buhari had done 2 wonderful things which was why I voted him in 2015, given his antecedents.

1) Reassurance on free and fair election by embracing BVAS

2) Naira redesign to cut their ill-gotten health to size. I keep saying this...Nigeria isn't a bad country. But the choices we make in electing bad people in government out of sentiments keep denting our image as a nation by allowing bad people to continue to hold sway. We will get sense someday.
sorry for you

What we need now is to compell CBN to make available new notes within the next 48hrs

Some banks ATM is dispensing new notes even till this minute although there's long queue and limited amount when you use other bank ATM card

He said the court should not lose sight of the case and its intention as it affects the suffering of Nigerians.

I love this comment by the justice okoro. It gives me a sense of the direction the case will go eventually. God bless the supreme court for acknowledging that the masses are suffering from this policy. But zombiediots are still supporting the evil.

As it is now, Nigeria will likely continue using the Old naira notes

They want to pull a last straw on Tinubu at the very last hour. February 22 is a few days to the election, the old notes will become useless 3 days to election. What is more painful than that?

I am not a lawyer , but one thing I do know is that according to the constitution of Nigeria , the cbn has the sole power to determine the currency that is legal tender in Nigeria .

Good intention of the CBN has been sabotaged. What is the fate of the masses now?
Emiefele should stop the circulation of 1000, 500 and 200 naira notes but he should ensure there is adequate 100, 50 and 20 naira notes.
Bank ATM should dispense 100 notes

I pity you, most of you guys in APC, i wonder how you reason.

CBN is note answerable to supreme court or any other court on it sole responsibility of deciding what a legal tender is. The CBN only needs the approval of the president on that.
