The question is what made him run from AD as the only AD governor as at that time and go and form a party. Why didn't he grow the party to national prominence? He ran away because he could not control the party.
On his agitation that the next president must come from the south was a selfish ambition because he knew if the primary is open and the north support their own he would not win and that was why he fought tooth and nail. It was the same strategy you deployed but it failed you and that is why you're still bitter till date.

They cannot be with him because they are not career politicians. He made use of administrators from different fields and after his tenure, all of them went back to their profession. Unlike the political jobbers parading themselves as your leaders, that cannot survive outside politics. Tell me how many of them that can survive outside politics among them.
