OneKinGuy:The confusion is the media. CBN will collect the old notes. The CBN do not have tellers to start counting and taking care of the volume of ppl that will visit the CBN offices. CBN has directed that after filling the portal and getting the reference number you can proceed to your commercial bank to do one off deposit of the old notes. The media is presenting it like you can just go the bank to deposit the money into your account. 3 Likes |
