See, the majority of Nigerians don't really care where a good candidate comes from, or whether he or she would be taking over from his own father or tribes person as Nigeria's president. If Osinbajo had won APC primaries, my brother, I would not have voted anyone else.
Don't ever think for once that Nigerians love Obi because they feel it's Igbos' turn to rule; that's far from it!
What about those of us that are not Yoruba, Hausa or Igbo? Are we less Nigerians? Shouldn't the other tribes be clamouring to rule as well?
Just drop that thinking because we aren't supporting Peter Obi because of his tribe. He just seems the most credible among the popular candidates, and one Nigerians can relate with. That's all!

Prof Yemi had won APC primaries, this obedient movement would not have gotten to this extent, but for the fact that APC fronted Tinubu and PDP mounted Atiku; Peter Obi is the best option amongst them all. That's why we are shouting Obi.

Try to replace Obi with Ikpeazu or Ugwuanyi as LP presidential candidate, I will vote Atiku.

For me It is not about party or slot/turn but about competency.
Yemi could not do much because he is the vice-president, there was a time Buhari traveled and handed power to Yemi, next thing Yemi swung into action and sacked one guy like that that was messing up.

I don't care which region is the president, what I need is competency.

Put Sanusi and Ikpeazu and you will see ibos vote for Sanusi.

You have spoken with wisdom.

The very essence of my asking this question, isnt because of other tribes in that country. I specifically asked this question because of those that shouted southern Unity, but they sabotage fellow southerners constantly for their own interest. when it backfires and other southern regions abandon them, the claim that they are hated by ,the same people they sabotage.

Is it the right of Yoruba and Northerners to rotate Presidency amongst themselves?? Are there no better candidates from all over the country?

Lets be guided, an IGBO man doesnt care where the presidency comes from, but when those saddled with the opportunity to rule, bring ethnicity and tribal affiliations into the equation, that is where IGBOs revolt. That alone is why i asked the pertinent question.

Yes, I'll campaign and vote for yemi Osinbajo. He was acting president for some weeks and the peace and quiet that greeted his time in office was exceptional.
