No wonder the Nigerian dev space is so messed up....Half of y'all jumped into advanced programming without learning the basics? Even if you learnt Basic & Fortran(extinct) languages, without C language, how did you jump to fully understanding Python? Even Java was originally written in C.......Amateurs always taking shortcuts grin grin grin

it's a building block, it makes all other languages and compilers easier, it's not really tough, if you look at the popular languages now like Python, if you mastered C language, Python is like writing an exam when you've already crammed the expo grin grin grin

What are the programming languages that a beginner should start from, who wants to be an app developer, and probably other languages to add?

->C/C++
-> python
-> scala (I needed this to use the play and akka framework)
-> JavaScript (needed to serialize data in protocol buffer from my IoT machine to AWS server, then to the client/browser via websocket. JS was use to deserialized the data before its parse to HTML)

Please go ahead and pay for it and you won'tregret it. Html, css, php can be learned easily.

Also, use YouTube and other free online resources to learn faster. Make sure you spend few hours every single day learning. In less than one year, you'll look back and be glad of this decision you're about to take.
