depends on the level of protection you installed.. i was away for over 6weeks, left my solar on with security lights and freezer running--came back zero issues, freezer was on timer socket though

Better to disconnect everything if you are not going to be in for that long. Anything can happen and since no one is around for extended period to notice and take corrective actions, things might go south and you can come back to meet a burnt house.

I prefer a new panel to a used one . Panels don't appreciate but depreciate with use. But some unknown brands are not as yielding and efficient even if they are new as already used premium brands. One just have to weigh the two and make informed decision. Also some of imported used claimed premium brands are not; most often than not the stickers have been tampered

It depends on ur battery type n security in place. If ur system has mcbs, SPD n it's grounded. Ure good to go. Ur battery smart BMS go handle others wey escape those 3 Incase of short, overcharging or surge.. if ure using lithium.

This is really nice to hear, but I have not installed any major safety equipment especially in regards to lightning. I have left the place now and have disconnected the solar from the charge controller and battery

you asking for the best??
get a victron 5kw, if you have close to 1.5m to spend on inverter

get a deye 5kw/8kw, if you have close to 1m to spend.

get a phocos [german branded ]5.5kw inverter if you have about 700k to spend on inverter

get a generic china brand inverter - powmr/sorotec revo series/anern etc...if your budget is about 500k for inverter

for battery, I recommend a 10kw or 14kw 48v lithium battery pack, ranges from 1.3m to 3m..depending on type/model

Edit; the victron isnt a hybrid so you are going to factor extra 300k to 700k buying a standalone 80 to 100amps mppt charge controller.

The other inverters are hybrids, they have inbuilt charge controller

Definitely.....if my 5kva felicity can power our 1.5hp submersible pump comfortably, I don't see why a 5.5kw inverter will be having issues starting any of your above mentioned load. 5kva inverter should be able to power at least 3hp motor load conveniently
