The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has won the election in the polling unit of Atiku Abubakar, its presidential candidate.

With the result of the election, which held at polling unit 12 in Ajiya, Gwadabawa ward in Yola north LGA of Adamawa state, PDP secured 282 votes, while the All Progressives Congress (APC) came a distant second with 57 votes.

The Labour Party (LP) secured six votes, while the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) got one vote.

It is not unexpected that a strong candidate like Atiku will lose his polling unit or even ward.

The way the result are trickling in, it might difficult for him to have 25% in any of the Southern states.

I'm really glad Tinubu is effectively out of the race.

South locked down for Obi
Core North locked down for Atiku


The head to head is a bit tight. Could end in a run-off for both though.

Anyhow it ends, Peter Obi will prevail by God's grace.
