Not sure I have to - my first post on this subject said Lagos is Yorubaland - simply that it has a larger character than just that - it has national and international character as the nerve centre of over 200 million people and the commercial capital of Nigeria.

Let me tell you something though. You really have to put aside this sort of debate with a city that has the multifaceted character that Lagos has a former capital and economic melting pot. Take examples - How would you view it if some Egyptians kept shouting that Cairo is exclusively theirs? Or some Brazillians kept shouting that Rio is exclusively theirs? Or some South Africans kept shouting that Jo'burg is exclusively theirs? It would be quite odd in all such instances. Thus I truly recommend dropping the subject. Lasgidi is indeed Yorubaland, but its not something to shout about - Lasgidi is indeed that, but much more also. It is truly home to many nations.

PS: Thanks for being considerate at last!

When you're asked a simple question you write 3 paragraphs. This means that your goal is obsfucation not honesty. No tribe other than Igbos call Lagos a no man's land. This is the fact.

It's possible they are the loudest in terms of that claim, but they are certainly not the only ones to make that claim. Its an insensitive thing to go about saying though. At best, one should adopt a sensible middle ground by acknowledging Lag as Yorubaland while also acknowledging it as the nerve centre of the nation, and thus home to many peoples.

Today is a testament that Lagos is 10001% no manā€™s land !

Talk like this makes Yoruba people hate you guys. If the 3 tribes should go their separate ways today, will you lay claim to Lagos from Anambra?

I dont see Obi winning. Tinubu has the best chance among the 3 candidates. Quote me after the election.
Tinubu has the best chance yet Obi is winning PU in lagos .... How can Tinubu has a change yet he cant win all the polling station in Lagos

Obi has won many from Surulere to Lekki to Festac ... Even Oshodi Surprised me

If Tinubu cant even win lagos PU all is it SE or SS or MB that he will win

Bros this game is between Atiku and Obi

Even in Ibadan , LP is following APC at Back and what LP need is 25% in those areas

You are kidding. Obi is pulling weight in lagos, Tinubu is pulling weight in Rivers. And who says Obi will win Lagos. Let the overall result comes. The volume of votes coming from Kano, Katsina and Kaduna make the 25% to be difficult to attain. Tinubu is having showing in the core North, Obi has completely vanished. Tell me how he will get 25%.

APC is leading well in Ibadan. You want to see the result?

I still insist thatā€™s not an excuse.
Knowing fully well the candidate is of their region, nothing absolutely nothing justifies the turn out.

Iā€™m in Edo, as Iā€™m typing we are now currently counting our votes. We beat the rain to achieve this.
