Why should Abuja even be a prerequisite for winning election? Doesn't make sense

He said you don't have to win FCT,
He didn't say you dont need 25% in FCT.
Attractive caption.
Inconclusive loading

He used Have to because it’s not an Obligation, just like he said..

He didn’t use Need to because it’s not a requirement to win FCT before you can be declare winner as long as you’ve got your 2/3 across..

Why haven't they declared him the next President? The FCT is not a state, and the law requires you to have at least 25% after having the majority of votes and meeting the 25% in at least two-thirds of the country.
these people doesn't even know what a state is

FCT has an appointed minister from the president.
Constitution is clear here that's why they specifically put and
because meeting 25% means you're averagely accepted there so it means they trust you to appoint a good administrator for them.
anything apart from 25% is not acceptable which means they totally rejected you.
Falana is confused here.
the constitution doesn't say you must win it but you must get 25% there.

FCT is not a state that's why we have only 36 States and capitals

Since 1999 there has not been a precedent to lay reference on thus Falana has no justification to interprete anything except his own opinion, we leave this to the Supreme Court for interpretation....

Stop kidding yourself So you think someone from Abuja can decide to run for president, win the entire area denying other contestants 25% of the votes in FCT and use it to hold the entire country hostage even if he doesn't win anywhere else and more popular candidate win in 30 states? So If Kwankwaso were from FCT and contest everytime no one will ever be president? You think the people who drafted the constitution are retarrds?

The Truth is bitter,

From the election results so far,

1. 98% of Northern Christians voted for Labour Party ( Peter Obi)

2. 100% of Igbos voted for Labour Party (Peter Obi)

3. 99.9% of all Nigerian Christians voted in favour of their own Peter Obi

4. Muslims divided their votes along party lines. Some voted for PDP, some APC, some NNPP and some other political parties.

MY take:

Prior to the elections, CAN endorsed Peter Obi because of Christianity. Their plan was to vote massively in his favour so that they could easily win as the Muslims would divide their votes. They thought Christians population is enough to make them win the presidential election. As the results are trickling in, their plot to Christianize Nigeria has totally failed. The two leading presidential candidates are all Muslims while their anointed religiously bigoted candidate is trailing in the distant 3rd position despite their block votes for him.

I voted in Southern Kaduna, Zango Urban to be precise. We all know that Southern Kaduna used to be PDP traditional region since 1999. This time around, the PDP traditionalists and loyalists voted along religious line. They boycotted the PDP for LP at the presidential race. While our people in Zango Urban were busy casting their votes for both APC, PDP and even the labour party, our Christian counterparts voted for the Labour party at the presidential poll in compliance with their pastors instruction.

The results have proven them wrong. Whatever happens, one of the Muslims will be our next president whether they like it or not.

Advice:
~ Never put all your eggs in one basket.
~ Marry more wives and give birth to many children before you start claiming popularity.

COPIED….

The middle belt people have spoken their mind with this election result, they do not want Muslim Muslim leader, they are tired of Fulani aggression, all the Michika people who ran from boko haram from the north east to the north central, originally know as middlebelt has spoken by voting peter Obi. As reflected in the result, the winner of this election should respect peter Obi and the middle belt people.
Or else they will fail if you continue persecuting the northern Christians

My one cent to the incoming President

So we have 36 states but for the sake of election they add FCT as a state hence why they say STATES AND FCT. So they require you to get 25 percent spread in 24 states out of the 36 STATES AND FCT. Shikena is a simple sturves. There is an entity called the 36 STATES AND FCT and from that entity we need 25 percent in 24 of them. That entity has 37 states combined in it

Point is that.
Popular opinion has it that one needs to win 25% in 2/3 of the 36 states abi? And the 2/3 of 36 states is 24.
If FCT is recognized as a state then 2/3 of 37 states is 24.6 which is not a whole number.
Then it's possibly safe to say 2/3 of 36 states and FCT is 25 states and not 24 states as commonly believed.

25% in at least 24 states, + FCT..
25% in at least 24 states, and FCT..

There is a diff between those 2 up. Interpret properly and you’ll have your answer..
