My fellow youths everyone should calm down we ve 36states+FCT nw the 3 front candidates re tied wit 12states each to win the election automatically u ve to gain 25% of votes in 24states&FCT also scoring d highest number of total votes in d election so nw APC hs scored the highest number of votes but wit less than 25% in FCT the can't b declared winner dats the law,FCT ws won by LP wit more than 65% so no candidate can b declared win we will ve a Re run 7 Likes |

IVORY2009:Other folks are saying that winning 25% of the FCT is irrelevant, but if so, why the "AND FCT" phrase? The Constitution should have left it out since FCT is part of the Federation, it could have just stopped at "2/3 of the Federation" which we all know includes FCT. |

there won't be any re-run election based on section 299 of Nigeria constitution, FCT, is not called a state that is why it is mentioned like that and in relation to election it will be 2/3 of 37 states which has been fulfilled by Tinubu Freshtruth: 1 Like |
