The foolish Omojuwa was on Twitter spreading lies against Igbo people. It was even Yoruba people that disagreed with him.

Point: Travel and see.

The Yoruba man has betrayed the Yoruba people for owning a property outside Yoruba land

This is news because its strange for outsiders to have property in south east, unlike other parts of Nigeria where the Igbos are welcome without discrimination

Whether GRV is from Cameroon, I don't even care.

So long as he is in LP and will retire Sanwo-olu, I will vote him.

Ogbeni, speak for yourself.

@Omojuwa, I don't know why integrity means nothing in this part of the world.

People just propagate propaganda on social media for a reason best known to them.

Travel and stop rehashing what You were told.
Yorubas are in.the South East and they have lands.
Just that the ibos are more daring and fearless, they can settle anywhere.

Epitome of Ignorance!!!

Those who are first to develop a land in an area do have the privilege of having a street named after them.
Soji Salau is a resident of Enugu. He has properties in Enugu. He was never elected as a president.

I read Omojuwa's tweet. It said, "There are parts of Nigeria". He didn't mention Igboland or East, so why do you think he's specifically talking about SE?

Regret what Some of you don't travel. Once you leave Kwara State and land in Lagos , you think the world has ended. It's easier to buy land in Lagos than Enugu. Land is very expensive in Enugu. It's not Amala.

Yes, the igbo man sees no one as an enemy.
Igbos are the real practitioners of one Nigeria which others claim only with mouth.

Can we find a way and blame the Igbos living in Lagos?

We can't let this tribal card die down. Let blame the Igbos for not making salau a senator despite having an estate in Enugu.

A hardworking man who has reaped the fruits of his labour . A true Omoluabi. Hardwork always leads to success .

Any yoruba who comes to the east should follow Soji Salau’s example and raise their level of hustle. If you don’t make it , work harder . Don’t play the tribal card or blame anyone like some lazy bigots on nairaland.

God bless you sir! There are professors from the SW who taught me when in UNN. They are big boys with landed properties and assets. They have been there for decades. Some even married Igbos and are doing very well. See that Mr. Bayo who is a DIRECTOR in Anambra state Civil service and has been there since 1994. That's a big boy. Director in civil service is not a joke. And there are many more like him.

People just want to make noise to reinforce a false narrative.

Has an estate or just named after him? Let him come and tell people if it is true and what lead to getting it. He may just be part of builder's family like architect, civil engineer etc. or maybe he married Igbo lady who acquired it with her name; there must be one "clause"; Igbo don't sell land voluntarily. Voting one example is ridiculous, can you count how many Igbo get land outside Igbo land? They are many, but it very hard to see 30 yorubas or hausa that got land without issue in igbo land. Very rare!

There is nothing wrong if it is rare. It is not the fault of Igbo people that you refused to invest in Igboland.

The way most of you open mouth out of ignorance is pathetic. Igbo man that loves money will not sell land? Because you are an outsider?

You can as well say Wale Alao, the owner of Purple Krown College in Enugu who have stayed back in Enugu after his NYSC in the early 90s also do regret it. He saw the demand and appreciation for his mathematics teaching skills and capitalized on it, became the go-to guy when it comes to maths tutorial for SSCE, GCE and JAMB candidates while he was teaching in big secondary schools in Enugu such as HRC, CIC. UNEC secondary school etc.

Go to Onitsha and see so many tailors from the Southwest who are very fluent in igbo language and running their businesses for decades......that some folks chose to stay put in their region without venturing out, doesn't mean others that do, are not finding their purpose.

If it is about refusing to invest in igbo land, then; outsiders will not have excuse to complain, but the truth is that; they were denied of land when they were ready with money to buy, that is the point. Someone that really got it did so through the wife she married, but; lots of discrimination that hanged on his head after finding out later made him to sell the house and left enugu
