Finally Nasarawa is going back to the Egon , for the first time they are coming as one, APC tighten your bet, develop ur rigging skills
They might need to employ his service😹

Battle line drawn! Muslims v Christians

One of SDP or APC should step down for one of them so that we can have a perfect match up.
Re: Nasarawa LP Gubernatorial Candidate Steps Down, Backs PDP by frank14011991(m): 6:18am On Mar 09, 2023
Sule will win, the Muslims splitted their votes between tinubu and Atiku that was why obi won by just 7k votes but this time they will all go for sule

For LP to dominate, they need merge with a strong party to conquer Nigeria. Imagine PDP and LP votes combined in presidential election..
A repeat of 2019 would have happened. APC don't have the mind to leave power weather defeated in an election or not.

LP won due to religious sentiments. Gubernatorial is a different ball game. They are all Christians. Most people in LP are from PDP.

Another one grin. That's number 4 already.

Adamawa steps down for APC
Rivers for PDP
Oyo for PDP.

Nigerian politicians are dangerous. Lol. You are busy spending loads of money and working out how to win election, the next thing you are watching your party announce their endorsement of one of your opponents. Unscripted drama.

What Obi should have done to kick out APC from Nigeria but social media hype enter him head. Now we have to live with APC in the next 4years. Glad to see the Egon tribe coming together as one accord. Egon is the largest tribe in Nasarawa state but they are divided.

It was obi they voted and not Ewuga. We will see the difference on March 18

Unfortunately he is right, and that is seen in the LP candidate for Nass stepping down.

Buhari was where Obi is now in 2011, a strong party, but not strong enough to take him where he needed to go, until he merged with others.

Obi is even more fortunate...he has something of a base to build on.

Or LP does massive mobilization from yesterday.

This one don sell his glory to PDP
Which glory? He stands no chance in that election. FYI, LP won the presidential election in the state because PDP members voted for it. For example, an outsider may think LP is favoured to win governorship election on the Plateau, but they will actually come third behind PDP and APC.
Re: Nasarawa LP Gubernatorial Candidate Steps Down, Backs PDP by madapcmod: 6:23am On Mar 09, 2023
Let Nassarawa vote LP, his deputy will take over the ticket if LP wins. No time for saboteurs and sell outs

He stepped down because the LP Gubernatorial movement using that strong plus the PDP candidate tick d boxes on what the people wants. It's not about the party no more but the peoples candidate. That's why amidst all the rigging Obi won in d state

So Obi should step down for Atiku for North to have uninterrupted 16yrs at Presidency? The same Atiku that left PDP to join APC and deny GEJ extra 4yrs because he was fighting for power to return to North?

Why didn't Atiku step down for Obi whose region has not tasted power?

Common sense should tell you LP will divide PDP votes hence paving the way for APC, just like the presidency.
Common sense is relative, and that should also tell you that the presidential election was rigged beyond common sense. Also, allying in politics has historically been instrumental if both parties feel that their combined force can defeat the incumbent leadership. That said, your logic falls in here and not the former.

That’s the problem with the politics of Nigeria. The idiot thought about himself only and not the citizens. He stepped down after exerting self serving promises. These are the kinds of people that must be shoved aside for Nigeria to move forward. Selfish politicians who occupy political spaces to line their pockets with the common wealth of the people.

d resolve of d ordinary Nigerians & youths is d push factor 4 Obi, Buhari didn't get dat in 2011.

This Nasarawa LP failed to realize dat d elections now are not mostly about his personal interest or other candidates interest to win their elections, but d resolve of d ppl to dislodge d PDAPC 4rm our polity so as to chart a new clean political dispensation.

He just lost out 4 nothing!

How the structureless became the new bride in town, is still a thing to study. Peter Obi, you do this one oh!

However, the obedient movement is more of an activism than a political tool. Irrespective of who steps down for the other, let competence, justice, and the will to serve prevail.💯
Self consolation. It's amazing to see Obidients change their talking point from:

"Obi needs as many governors LP can get to help him win his mandate"

To
"Obi became the new bride in town" lol.

Are the SW the only people in the South? Why didn't Tinubu step down for Obi. They had their turn during Obj, Vice Yemi Osinbanjo and now Tinubu. If the SE can't have it let it go to the north since greed from our SW Brothers won't allow them. Tinubu also worked against his fellow southerner GEJ

Nasarawa ppl will steal vote 4 d LP ticket irrespective of weda diaris a candidate there or not, & wen LP win, they will replace him wit someone more trustworthy...

Senator Ewuga is on ground and knows the reality that Obi is not on the ballot this time. Even when he was, Lp only won the presidential votes but not the Senatorial or House of Assembly votes.

IFSHR:

Gubernatorial elections voting dynamics are entirely different from that of the presidential. Many people voted for Peter Obi and not necessarily Lp. Some of these people may not vote for the Lp candidates in the next round.

When will Nigerians politicians talk ideologies? The leaders are as good as those who vote for them. A man in the very last minute of a very important election, tells his supporters to vote for his competitor and people support him? If the two parties do not share the same ideologies, where will the support come from? Even if LP is not devoured to win, he should remain in his party, develop it and get ready for the next elections.

Until we wake up as citizens and begin to take back power from these selfish and greedy politicians, Nigerians will continue to be miserable. Nigerians must stop encouraging politicians from switching parties at will.

Politics is local. The dynamics of the gubernatorial election are different from those of presidential's. He knew he didn't stand any chance at the election. To confirm what I'm saying, watch out for the gubernatorial election in Plateau state and see how the people will vote.

"An obedient opinion" is different from "obedients opinion." The last time I checked, the spirit of collective agreement was back up by an activism of competence, character, Integrity and the passionate will to serve and redeem the country image. This is still the driving force and thus, it is competence over party. Every other person has their opinion.

Know the difference and stop making a fallacy of hasty generalization.

That is what most of them ranting here don't understand. Why the people in Nasarawa didn't vote for LP NASS candidates? The voters there are more informed than people think
