I have been to Ikeja before but I have seen place in Germany or so where the train passes via the market place and it has never derailed or killed people. So, how a BRT derailed from its lane to a train lane is still a mystery to me

I’d Still blame the government for employing irresponsible people that lack basic trainings

The bus did not derail, the work on that Ikeja road/bridge made them block the link from computer village to the express , you have to drive through a rail track to connect to the express now, I pray everytime I am driving on the rail track for my car not to switch off as I periodically look left and right,

The annoying thing is, there is always traffic on the rail line, so if a train is coming, while you are on the track with traffic in front of you, it's bye bye..

wrong info. This is a staff bus for Lagos State workers not the commercial BRT. They normally cross that place into Ikeja GRA by PWD. The driver was simply impatience, that is it. I normally drive past that place whenever I m coming from work.

If it's in that Ajayi Farms around Ile Zik in Ikeja that I know, then the BRT driver must have caused that accident.. that place is so bad now that cars have to struggle to climb the railings causing serious traffic there.

The BRT bus probably got hooked on the rail lines and train was on top speed.. reason for the collision. See how hazards people neglect lead to deaths in Nigeria.
