shocked

Yes they're free to use any method but they must communicate the same method to party members.

Here they promised to transmit the results at real time but they went manual.
It's within their power to transmit anyhow they want.

Obviously, LP doesnt have a case. It is rather carrying out an abuse of court processes and its case against the apc will be duely dismissed by the tribunal.

Pity your country not IPOB.
Over #100bil was given to INEC for electronic transmission of results at real time unknown to us that they have arranged with APC togo manual.
stop promoting fake news with blurry pictures, we all know thag it's normal for them inflating budgets but it's fg that gives that out and not Tinubu

These people are jokers. After INEC stated clearly at different media platforms and places it will transmit polling unit level results real-time?

Stated(wishes) but not mandatory(Zero Constitutional requirement), it's like booking a flight with complimentary alcohol, if something happens to the alcohol and you don't get yours, do you ask for a refund of the flight cost?

This write up is even self indicting, the write up clearly stated that INEC was free to choose the method it want n it was INEC themselves that choose electronic transfer of results, only to secretly n unilaterally jettison that n opt for manual process,if INEC had any issues but was desirous of transparency they should have notify the parties or even postpone the elections, but because it was pre-planned they went ahead without care, which ever way one look at this elections the result is always dubious, Nigeria has lost a big opportunity to make a giant leap forward no thanks to the hidden agenda been executed by INEC.

it was sabotage. it is mandatory cos that is the importance of BVAS technology.

Honestly I don't understand why it's only urchins that try to justify non transmission of election results. It's appalling that the so called leaders of tomorrow are the ones trying to excuse the lapses in the election. The most sensible thing to do is to allow people to monitor election results instantly. Why do we have to spend billions on election that would be shrouded in secrecy?

Can you show me where in the electoral act that it states electronic transmission of results is MANDATORY?

The headline is not in proper context. LP wanted only electronic transmission, INEC said manual but will be checked along the way with irev and if there're discrepancies, irev supercedes.

Question is, did inec follow this? Absolutely No!

yea cos inec stated it everywhere and didn't state otherwise anywhere b4 it was sabotaged to carry out rigging.

INEC stating it to Nigerians made it constitutional and legally binding on them until they state otherwise to Nigerians b4 the elections begins and why?

a mistake or sabotage in the earlier stated method makes the process illegal.

Again INEC can say whatever, I'm talking about Electoral Act itself! Here's a lesson, if it isn't written then it simply does not exist legally and Constitutionally!

And they adopted BIVAS
I think two purposes of BVAS are to accredit voters and upload votes to IREV.
Accreditation was done but uploading/transmission of votes depends on INEC's discretion for security purpose.

it exists legally as stated by inec b4 the election. Anything else is illegal. That is what the constitution says.

if INEC can do anything they like the constitution will not ask them to state a specific procedure to Nigerians.

Without fraudulent means, Tinubu can never win even a local governments elections. We all know how he bribe the various delegates with millions of dollars Just to maneuver his way as the candidate. Nigerians went to the polls cos Tinubu's accomplice called Mahmood yakubu had repeatedly assured Nigerians that results will be transmitted from Pu in realtime else no one will waste their time to vote.
